Made a pretty last minute reservation for 3 during a holiday weekend with stunning weather. Sat outside next to the canal which is super cute and really gives you a clear sense of how old the city is. Staff was fabulous and really welcoming and gave us all the time we needed. Every dish and wine we had was great. Yummy Crème Brûlée to end the dinner with and we liked it so much that I could help but give a decent tip. Will definitely be back in a few months when we’re back in town. Thank you guys for a great evening with good food and great service 👍🏼.

We had a wonder dinner here (group of 7). It was my second visit here and both times the food and service were great. We had Champagne and oysters to start - lovely selection of 3 different oysters. Three of us ordered the mussels as a main course and there was an audible gasp when they lifted the lid off our enormous pot of mussels. I’ve never seen so many mussels. We devoured them - they were delicious. It is a small restaurant and can be quite noisy. I prefer the outside terrace in the Summer. But for good seafood I highly recommend the Viszaeck.

Impeccable service, cheerful and polite waiters with knowledge about food and drink. A good balance between fine dining dishes and hearty, filling main course. Probably the best cooked seafood I’ve had outside of the South of Europe.

Great fresh seafood and fish with a variety of creative menu.The atmosphere is ideal and the service impeccable.If you are in Amersfoort its a must visit :)

Dinner at De Viszaeck was a highlight of our month long trip in Europe / 11 days in Amersfoort. From the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful. We sat on the charming patio along the canal. The food was interesting, innovative, beautifully presented and delicious. The service was friendly, helpful, engaging and thoughtful. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

A wonderful experience at de Viszaeck! Great food, friendly staff - they even made an exception for us - and a nice atmosphere on the terrace. Would go back for sure!

Een super adres voor heerlijk eten. Als voorgerecht is de bisque aan te bevelen Daarna de cataplana met oa garnalen, mosselen, mul en calamares.

Wat een leuk, mooi plekje. Wij waren er 28 dec. Maar kan me voorstellen als het.mooi weer is het geweldig eten is op het terras achter. Leuke bediening. Mooie gerechten.

Erg gezellig fris restaurant met open keuken en een mooi terras aan een gracht. Wat erg goed is, is dat op de website aangeraden wordt om Fruit De Mers van tevoren te bestellen om zo geen teleurstelling in het restaurant te hebben. Wij begonnen met oesters daarna Fruit De Mers en tot slot Cataplana. Bedienen was erg vriendelijk en gelukkig dachten ze nog mee, anders hadden wij nog meer besteld en het was al teveel.alles is keurig ingepakt. Top avond en tot de volgende keer.

Meer dan verdiend! Zo ontzettend lekker eten, hele vriendelijke bediening. Genieten met een grote G!

Tijdens onze WijnSpijs wandeling hier dit pareltje gevonden. Geweldig, hier gaan we zeker terugkomen.

Heerlijk gegeten! We begonnen met een kraakverse oester en daarna voor, hoofd en nagerecht. De kaart is niet heel groot, maar er is voldoende keus en variatie in smaken te vinden. De gerechten zelf zijn goed op smaak, mooi en een goede portie. Vriendelijk en alert personeel, goed advies over de wijn.
