Nicely decorated. Fresh, delicious food. Highly recommend for their lunch specials. The soup of today was a yummy white asparagus! Would love to come back.

Really great open restaurant serving delicious locally sourced foods. Great for families or friends wanting to hang out, eat lunch or dinner together. Cutest thing was the little welcome sign with my name on our table. Their soups are great, home made bread is amazing, and we loved the desserts as well as the cookies! Service was also very attentive and friendly! The adjacent little shop features yummy veggies, sauces, cheeses, breads, pastries, sweets, and other great locally sourced gems. Highly recommend! Parking was kinda hard to find as Google Maps didn’t properly direct us there, but there is parking on the property. We did see a sign that said the restaurant will move to a different location some time in 2024…

We had the special five-course "coffee" dinner. The dishes all looked and tasted fantastic. Definite plus for creativity and taste combinations. All dishes had coffee in their recipes in a nice & subtle way.

Big sunny terrace, yummy lunch and all ingredients are local. The vibes are urban and cool. Note the place is not in the city centre of Amersfoort, but we liked biking there via the water. The staff was super friendly. There’s also a store with delicious local goodies. We loved it.

Food is prepared with lots of attention and brings forward the traits of the ingredients. This pure style I enjoyed very much. Took some time to get served but was well worth the wait.

It's a really cute restaurant/ grocery store close to the heart of Amersfoort. Outdoor eating is also an option. Their coffee ☕ is to die for. It was the first time we had coffee without sugar. Service was impeccable 👌

One of my favourite places in AMERSFOORT for a decent cup of coffee and great lunch. Love the breads and high quality meats / fish they use. Tried the bread with carpaccio, salmon and hummus, which were all a great choice! I will definitely come back for dinner some time. Don’t forget the visit the shop next door. They sell all kinds of great local products!

Loved the food! Very creative but approachable dishes. Service was good, but those not drinking wine (myself and a handful others in a large group) were consistently forgotten. Pretty minor complaint overall, I would happily come back.

We had a super delicious vegan 3 course menu, it was definitely worth it. You can tell that so much effort was dedicated to the flavor, texture and presentation of the food. It's highly recommended. Hugo and Juan are super friendly host, their music brights up the night.

Really nice food! The waiter spoke to me and my girlfriend ( I am Spanish and she is Dutch) in our corresponding languages so we could get all the explanation. Food is superb and the concept is beautiful!

Great place to have a coffee, lunch or diner. Price is a bit the higher. But that's because they work with local products. Lots of vegan and biological products.

Our 2 y.o. loooves the fresh bread from here! Great place to have lunch and let your kid play.

Our meal was really superb! I hadn’t eaten at Het Lokaal for a while and the new idea of five locally-made dishes is great. All the dishes are beautifully served on slate plates and the waiting staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Every dish contained different, interesting ingredients. Vegan haute cuisine: exquisite!

Pizza is superb, freshly made with local ingredients! Super tasty!
The bakery produces some of the finest bread and sweet cakes as well. Again top notch quality!
Wish there would be more of this kind of inspired food shops around.
Also, prices are really on an affordable level!

Dinner was fantastic! Fully plant based and full of flavours, fully using local and seasonal products and changing the menu every 2 weeks. Would definately go again!

Great atmosphere, amazing coffee, super tasty bread. You can charge electric car nearby, kids can run around and have fun safely. Our must stop location in Amersfoort.
