Mugs & Mermaids

My go to for delicious and colorful pancakes (at a decent price)! I recommend both the mermazing and red velvet ones. Their special coffees also taste nice and sometimes come with a cute mermaid spoon.

I went to Mugs & Mermaids at my friend's recommendation and I wasn't disappointed! Immediately when you walk in you'll feel the chill beachy vibes from the interior. It's a really chill place to eat, even if you eat alone like I did. The staff were nice and friendly, and really make you feel at ease and welcome. The pancakes were delicious and the speciality coffees make for an interesting flavor experience. My photo's hardly do it justice; I definitely recommend you check it out!

Such a tasty food and amazing design as well, i loved the atmosphere there and the waitress were so helpful, I just loved to be there and hope to come back one day! recommend!

Such a mermazing place to chill and enjoy a cup of coffee and delicious pancake! Both were even better than I have expected. It’s fruity and sweet, just like how it’s presented! Love how they’ve decorated the restaurant and terrace. From chairs to parasols, it’s very cute and colorful!

This was our first time coming to Mugs and Mermaids and it was such a cute restaurant😍😍🥰 The staff is nice and were really nice to talk to. We also met Perry, who spent the day at the restaurant and was so sweet🐕

The food tasted very good, the ambience is also very nice and the service is friendly. (The picture shows the red velvet pancakes, mermaid bowl, poke sandwich and the toasted blueberry banana bread). I can only recommend the shop.

Such a cute place! Warm and friendly staff. The food is fresh, flavorful and original. I always love a matcha latte, and this one was particularly good! Reasonably priced.

I've been to Mugs & Mermaids few times and the dishes that I enjoy the most are veggie scrambled eggs thag is cooked to perfection and red velvet pancake with layers of nutella and ....... (cream cheese?) which gives the pancake a pinch of savoury taste... if you don't like it you can ask them to put it on the side or remove it... I would keep it... it makes it unique and tasty compared to all the other pancakes in The Hague! 😋

Original and colorful menu full of color-rich coffees and teas as well as bowls, pancakes for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Very friendly staff. Beware that the place is quite small

I had been craving a chicken and wafels experience and this pancakes, chicken and kimchi stack hit the nail on the absolute head! So damn good.

Loved the 50/50 bowl, it was at perfect refreshing temperature, just cold enough and delicious.

Food looked amazing and tasted delicious too!! Would really recommend. One of my favorite hotspots in The Hague

Sat on the sunny terrace, trying all the cocktails. They were all great, but the red velvet espresso martini was my favourite.
Glad they have some vegan options on the food and drinks menu.
