De Oude Mol

After twenty years we came back to this cosy little cafe. We drank a couple of nice Belgian beers and had some snacks. We decided to stay and ordered a shepherd’s pie and a curry, both quite tasty. Staff were all very friendly and professional. Service was impeccable. Five stars for sure!

Found this hidden bar whilst looking for a place for a quick bite on a Sunday evening. It turned out to be a hidden gem! Great beer on tap (from a small Dutch island) and live music with free soup for everyone. The staff are warm and welcoming and we were quickly involved and talking with the locals. Highly recommend this spot!

Best food in Den Haag! Every dish is always unique and delicious. Michele Auriel has been the head chef for over 20 years and puts a lot of thought and hard work into creating new meals every week. Her menu is always fresh, seasonal and something you’ll be talking about long after you’ve left. They only serve dinner and (incredible) deserts. The atmosphere is cozy and cool, with a charming and lively bar downstairs. Apparently it has existed as a bar for well over 150 years. So the overall experience is like stepping back in time.

Gorgeous, very small and cosy, decor is fun, there’s a quiet room upstairs to get away from downstairs when it’s busy. Board games too. Loved it here!

So strange to sit in the street, not in a cluster of table but more like wild flowers growing through the sidewalk cracks. But the place is super friendly, unique and very enjoyable. Take the time to sit down and relax with a beer.

They do not serve food but is a old style Dutch kroeg. Meaning you get dutxh drinks like beer, distilled and wines. The atmosphere is a amazing something u have to experience yourself. If you are strawling away or u had a good shopping day, this is a place to go to get a drink.

We went for some beers before dinner. Super nice staff and good beer in a cosy setting. A bonus star to whomever was in control of the playlist, and an extra thanks for the complimentary crisps!

Small and cozy bar. Friendly environment and super service. Every half an hour they were serving tapas for free. Enjoy your drinks with food. First time seen this in Den Haag. Hospitality and well done service in another level.

Small, cosy beer cafe on a cosy street located between the shopping street. Service was very very attentive, friendly and quick! Nice place if you are a fan of Belgian style beers!

I love The Old Mole! One of the best little bars I went to in The Hague. Elsbeth has some great beer knowledge, and a very nice person to talk to. Everyone else there was very nice too! The meal /snack we had was amazing too.

Ohh what a beautiful bar! It's beautiful decorations and the lovely service makes it such a nice place to be! Might not be the best option for big groups, but definitely a must place to visit!
