Sencha Lunchstore

Love the atmosphere of the lunchstore...so homie... I am not a fan of coffee, but their late is super... and of course, their signature taart...will definitely come again to try their high tea package. Saw the next table had it and I drolled..

I love this place!

First of all food is delicious, drinks are good! Vegan and vegetarian options.

Stuff is friendly, order is comes fast. You have place to charge your phone, internet. You can find any kind of chairs you like. There are some really comfortable ones.

I would suggest to use different kind of cup for warm drinks. But in general all is good.

Great sandwiches with a good selection of different flavors. The coffee and the personal/service were also great. Their cakes are definitely the best there. With a big variety and also vegan and sugar free variations. You are able to get them for take away!

The establishment is completely invisible from the street, but very cozy inside! Small menu but all dishes were worthy! Good lunch and a wide range of desserts.

Good coffee in a very nice atmosphere. I had a fantastic pancake dish.

Hidden little gem (well, not so hidden but easy to walk by) with amazing food catring to vegan, vegetarian, raw and gluten free/dairy free options. The cakes are amazing, must try are the american pancakes... would have loved to try more though... the food looked delish. On your way out buy a little present for ypur friends/family

We had a very cozy time at Sencha with delicious homemade food and cakes. We had booked high tea, which came with a nice assortment of sandwiches, salad and cakes. And all the tea you could drink. Which all were scrumptious!
They even took special care (warning! gut talk!) to make my food so that my swollen small intestine was sure to be able to process it. Very friendly and acommodating if you have special needs!

What a blast to find such a wonderful place in the Netherlands! Travelled to Alkmaar just to have lunch there. Vegan food was so tasty and colourful! What a joy! And vegan cakes! M-m-m-m made me want to move to holland just so I can indulge myself in Sencha in a regular basis!

Wonderful coffee/cake(!!!)/snack/lunch spot in the heart of alkmaar. Really nice staff and a place where you can even buy most of the items in the shop itself (chairs, tables, paintings etc)
And the cakes are amazing, with a lot of options for all types of dietary restrictions.

Amazing vegan dishes and cakes! The coffee and other drinks are also very tasty.

Cosy place ☀. We chose a piece of banana bread, a piece of lemon-poppy seed cake, chai latte, green tea,... All was tasty! The freshly made chocolate nutbar that we took to close off our visit was likewise a success. Thankful for how we were served by the friendly staff.

I would recommend this place 😊.

I like this little cafe, the food is good and the cakes are even better! I love the little atrium at the back. The staff is also friendly and smiley. We wanted to go for their high tea option which we have seen before and looked delicious, but we were told that we had to order a day in advance, so keep it in mind. Unfortunately we are not so good with our coffee/lunch planning so I don't know if we ll ever be able to have it😂. We went for another selection, it was good, but not as impressive as their high tea. Cakes, soups, sandwiches, all very nice with healthy options available.

A place where everything's for sale. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Chai latte with spicy cacao was great asking with the burrata. The hight tea in the table next to us looked great too.
Also pet friendly!

I love sencha! The most delicious coffee in Alkmaar area. And off course it is worth to mention their sweets! It is the best cafeteria/luchtstore I know in the Netherlands, really! My 👏🏻 to the owner, good job.

Though, I will also add some constructive critical feedback here.
It is always druk there, not enough tables, very narrow place probably because everyone just likes to go there:)
