Really great experience, service was excellent and food really good. Not cheap but you get what you pay for and I will definitely go again. Didn't get the wine flight but the recommendations per glass were also very good.

Since quite a while the best non-Michelin star rated restaurant.

Always a pleasure to dine here. This is a fine dining restaurant but not too formal. The restaurant is not going for a michelin star, they want to cook with pleasure and not be bound by michelin requirements, do their own thing and they got it right. The dishes are made with passion and you can taste that. Must go if you visit Leiden.

Best fine dining restaurant in town. Compasionate cook and staff, good atmosphere in the restaurant. We had a 6-course dinner with pairing wines. Dishes are good in portion and flavours (the fullness of fattiness and umami).

Best place ever in Leiden! Great chef and great service. Our experience there couldn’t have been better, thank you! For that range of prices in Leiden you cannot find anything better. I’ll recommend to try the entire menu. Every single dish is worth it and specially the veggie dish is a must.

Tonight, the sea bass, dessert and their wine pairings were the best courses I have had in a very, very long time. Some of the best fine dining, if not the best, that Leiden has to offer. With quality ambience. Without the fuss of formality. Phenomenal.

The food was very good and the staff was quick and friendly. The waiter patiently explained everything about our food which added to our experience.
It is on the expensive side, but it’s not surprising for a fine dining place.

Leiden has about 4 stellar, Michelin star worthy restaurants, and IDGE is one of them. Beautiful interior, preserving well the pharmaceutical past and blending it perfectly with the culinary present. Service is kind and knowledgeable. And the food is fantastic.

The food is really nice, especially for dinner.

Wat een toprestaurant. Michelinster waardig.
Heerlijk 6 gangen menu, drankje vooraf van de eigenaar, top bediening (gastheer). Prachtige wijnen.
We komen zeker weer !!!

Dit was het zeker waard. De sfeer is erg prettig: netjes, toegankelijk, professioneel. We werden goed ontvangen en voor mijn Engels-sprekende partner schakelde het personeel moeiteloos om. Verrassende, smaakvolle gerechten gepaard met indrukwekkende wijnen. De sommelier heeft duidelijk kennis en goede smaak. Michelin aanbeveling is zeker verdiend. De chef heeft de gerechten mooi en lekker bereid.

Het was een mooie ervaring en wij komen hier zeker terug.

Wij hebben all incl. Menu genomen en het was perfect vanaf amuse tot dessert. De bijpassende wijnen zijn heerlijk. Wij hebben de volgende dag syrahvissante van Louis Chèze online besteld. Verder de bediening is top. Wij komen zeker terug!

Wir waren zu zweit und hatten das komplett-Menü, inklusive Weinbegleitung, Wasser etc.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, jeder Gang für sich hervorragend, und sehr gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Die Aromen waren abwechslungsreich und jeder Teller war sehr schön angerichtet.

Die Weine, welche die einzelnen Gänge begleiteten, passten perfekt zum Essen. Die Weinbegleitung ist unbedingt zu empfehlen! Sie rundet das gesamte Menü ab.

Der Service war super! Freundlich und verbindlich, und ausgesprochen aufmerksam.

Zusammenfassend: wir hatten einen großartigen Abend! Schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen, in angenehmer Atmosphäre :) .

Heerlijk gegeten, sfeervol en zeer gastvrij. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug en onze gasten uit Bathmen ook.

Topkeuken, zeer vriendelijke bediening, heel prettige sfeer.

Echt heerlijk gegeten, elk gerecht zag er prachtig uit, fijne ambiance, vriendelijk personeel en een groot compliment voor de chef! Daarnaast is er goed rekening gehouden met onze dieetwensen/ allergieën. We komen zeker terug!
