Very nice restaurant. It was nice to sit outside, next to the water. The food was very good. Menus is short but the quality was good!
If it is crowded, you may want to go inside to order, that's quicker.

Where do I start? Great food, great service, great decor and atmosphere, great choice for a great meal. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

The restaurant is decorated beautifully with a perfect mix of Urk and fishing boat objects. The staff are attentive, friendly and polite. Calming view of the ocean.

The choice of menu is simple. Typical Dutch cuisine and (to be expected) fish choices. I had croquettes and my husband had the fish and chips. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from the croquettes cause they're usually all the same mass produced. They tasted home made or speciality made. The bread they came with was fresh and pillowy soft. I was thoroughly satisfied. My husband's fish was so delicious, too. Perfectly battered, lightly seasoned and fresh that morning. Chips nicely cooked too.

I also had a slice of appeltaart cause it's my birthday, and it was delicious too. Soft but not mushy apples, topped with flaked almonds and a nice pie crust.

I'm beyond happy we chose to come here. If I had to provide any negatives, its that they get busy quickly so get in early, you won't be disappointed. I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

We ate very well. the tuna and salmon were yummy and served with baked potato chips and tomatoes.

Best fish soup ever and the grilled gambas were delicious too. It has a lovely sea atmosphere, the staff are super nice and the service is good too. On top, you can enjoy the beautiful sea view. A must-go when you visit Urk.

Really nice fish restaurant, when you visit Urk, you really need to check out this place with the lovely "sea" view... the waiter was really enthusiastic and knew a lot about the best current fish to choose. We really enjoyed our dinner and will surely come back for another visit.

Great restaurant in great place. Fresh(!) and delicious fish, bread and chips for fair price (15e). Portions very very big! Staff professional and helpful.

Marvelous sea view, good food. Especially appreciated the fact that they were open in a public Dutch holiday when all others including supermarkets were closed.
