Planning visiting the city of Urk in the Netherlands. Then please do take a seat at the terrace "Het Achterhuis" at Urk's harbour. From the 2nd level you've got a marvelous view on the (small) harbour and you may watch numerous small and middle sized boats entering and leaving the harbour. In July and August you can book a trip by boat visiting several harbours located at the IJsselmeer. Enjoy a cold beer at the terrace accompanied by shrimps or Dutch "bitterballen". Sure you will be pleased with the taste.

lovely Restaurant, nice View, good waiters, top food.

Serving Meat, fish and also Vegan stuff. Adding fries and vegetables to the table for everyone to share. We always come to the achterhuis in Urk.

Perfect service, drinks are nearly refilled before you even empty them. Great venue for weddings too. Food is great and locally sourced as well.

Attended a wedding party with an open bar. What's not to love? Great snacks, great service. When you ask for a beer at your table, you only have to do it once. Any empty glasses are quickly replaced with full ones. My friend drank 8 beers and he only ordered once.

Italian people say...... YES! Beautiful place with a breathtaking view, , excellent service and the waiters are polite. Fish is fresh and it has a great preparation.

I'm travelling alone and when I arrived in Urk everywhere was closed and when I found this place the welcome was great and the service is exceptional and friendly and they all work as a great team. I really loved it !

Lot's of good fish on the menu. Restaurant is on the 3th floor with nice view on the old village, harbor and the IJselmeer
