Meer en Bosch Tavern

In 12 years in The Hague, this Tavern turns out to be one of my best restaurant experiences ever! The staff is delightful, the place is a rarity, so beautiful, cozy and elegant, and the cook is clearly very, now, very skilled.
All of this for a reasonable price considering the overall quality of the offer. A wonderful treat that I will happily share with dear ones on special occasions!

The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and kind, and the value is great! It was a very good experience. It has become a favorite of my family. We will visit again soon.

Very nice restaurant, the way a real restaurant should be. Quality food on an uncluttered menu with something good for everybody. They buy their own salmon in Scandinavia and smoke it themselves, just to give an example. Nice interior, upmarket place in a beautiful park. You can park the car just 10 meters from the place.

Culinairy experience, pricy but oh so tasteful. Some wines could be more exclusive, and when there is no cork it takes a bit away from the feeling especially because they still let you try it, but Im aware that's a personal thing 😅

We had a delightful meal at the taverne. I am strictly gluten free and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about cross contamination. It was very nice to be able to eat a delicious meal with family safely

The best in town.

Het is een sfeervolle restaurant die voorziet aan de behoeften van de buurt, ik ben vaak met de schoonfamilie geweest voor een familie diner, lunch of een kopje koffie op het terras.
Het gaat helaas binnenkort sluiten.

De sfeer, het eten, de bediening, allemaal perfect en dit geeft je het gevoel dat je op een speciale plek bent. Deze klassieke stijl kom je weinig meer tegen maar gelukkig koestert de taverne deze elementen al 40 jaar.

Vandaag voor het eerst geweest na een wandeling met onze hond. Bescheiden lunch kaart. Ook wel eens fijn ipv een heel dagboek. Het terrasje in het midden van een bos beland je in een oase van rust.

Heerlijk gegeten, gedronken in een zeer ontspannen sfeer met vriendelijke en perfecte bediening

Een toprestaurant in Meer en Bos met geweldige gerechten en exclusieve wijnen.
Niet voor een snelle hap maar voor een culinair avondje uit.

Geweldig eten. Bourgondiser dan dit wordt het niet. Top stroganoff aan tafel klaargemaakt. Heerlijke huisgerookte zalm. Top oesters. Geweldig

Heerlijk gegeten hier. Deel van het eten werd aan tafel klaar gemaakt. Echt heel leuke ervaring! Zeer de moeite waard.

Vorbildliche Ausstattung des Gastraumes, sehr aufmerksame Begrüßung ! Große Weinkarte, interessante häufig wechselnde Mehrgänge-Menüs, aber auch verlockende a la carte - Speisen. Wir verbrachten einen genussreichen Abend in entspannter Atmosphäre! Hier fühlt man sich als Gast sehr wohl!
