Bij Best. Breakfast, Lunch & Coffee

A very cozy and friendly establishment. I was particularly happy that they had gluten-free bread with which I could substitute their normal bread, and it was tasty.
We each had an English Breakfast (at 3pm... they serve all day breakfasts), and it was hugely satisfying. (Just expect one egg, not two, if you're not Dutch). Still a very satisfying meal and no cooking will be required this evening.
I also wanted English tea, which is something really hard to find here in the Netherlands.
The trick is to ask for 2 tea bags and milk on the side. Some establishments are funny about 2 bags, but they were not and so I proceeded to complete my meal with a good cuppa!
Highly recommended.

If you are passing by Delft this is a good place to have a brunch, lunch or drinks. During the spring and summer times they have a boat in front of the restaurant where you can sit and have your meal looking at the amazing Delft landscape. As in this period is very busy you sometimes may wait a while to order, although the team is kind and attentive. Don’t worry if you cannot get a sit outside, inside is beautiful as well with a cozy vibe.
They have a lot of options in the menu, however, I always take one of the options at the All Day Breakfast part which include a lot of food, an orange juice and a hot drink (coffee, tea, capuccino…). Really!!! Is more than enough for one person.

One of these rare places whith a boastful name that happens to be right on the money! Definitely one of the best breakfast places in Delft, especially the English breakfast is warmly recommended. Excellent coffees too.

A great looking, cosy little restaurant well located. There is a nearby church that played chimes while we were eating. The terrace is floating on a canal. Pretty cool !The food was delicious. They have vegan and vegetarian options and their coffee is really decent. I also took their mango juice. To be honest, the mix was made so that I couldn't really taste the mango as much. But it was still good 😊

We had chosen this place twice in a week with my boyfriend for breakfast. We had eaten English breakfast which are great. Normal size plate, two drinks options what you want. Nice atmosphere

Incredible staff member and lovely hospitality! We came on a busy Saturday lunch time and the place was very busy so the lovely short hair staff member told us to come back in 20 minutes and booked us a slot. The lunch was really great! Having some photos on the menu will be even better. It will be also nicer to have a filter coffee or to have better coffee beans that are locally roasted. The atmosphere was lovely and it was packed with lovely plants. Highly recommend :)!!

Amazing breakfast, lots of options, and types of food. Very helpful staff as I asked was it possible to change something out. They sorted my request for me. If you order a breakfast, you also get an orange juice included as well as your choice of tea, coffee, or cappuccino. Not a long wait for food either and a wonderful atmosphere. Will be coming back again

This place is such a gem! We came out of town in search of a food brunch spot and it didn’t disappoint! The service is very fast and friendly, and made us feel so welcome.

What a great breakfast experience, it is not common to find good sit-down restaurants in Delft that are open earlier for breakfast. Bij Best happens to also be a great cafe restaurant for both breakfast and lunch. They offer a selection of international breakfast choices which are all generous and made with great ingredients, most of which are homemade. Thier juice and coffee selection is also outstanding. Location is nothing but picturesque with a fair amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Service also rounds things off for a full five starts with attentive and friendly staff. Make sure you visit Bij Best for a great breakfast, lunch or coffee.

Went to Delft to visit this place for a brunch and it was totally worth it. The food is amazing, the service superb and when you are on the boat just for you to know, you might go left, right back and forth. Really nice experience. For sure we will recommend the place.

Quaint, cozy, yet fashionable, this canal-side neighborhood outpost serves all-day breakfast and a wide selection of open-faced sandwiches, inventive salads and yummy sides. Try the mackerel for something tasty, unique and visually delightful.

Slowly start the day here with a coffee, or catch up with a friend for a long overdue reunion. A wonderful place to lounge and recharge in Delft before venturing back out into the damp grey of Holland.

Food is really varied and delicious. But the service is exceptional! We had kids with of that day and they were very accommodating. When it started to rain outside they even opened a parasol for us. Also, they had so much coffee and flavors of coffee, as well as alternatives for milk. Really recommend this place.

This is one of the most highly rated cafes and restaurants in Delft. If you go there you will understand why. They have a great selection of all-day breakfasts, sandwiches and smoothies. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere very relaxing.

The staff is nice and the lady at entrance is very welcoming and nice. We took 2 cappuccino with cocos milk which were very good . Together with cappuccino you get a piece of soft green cake which is really nice.

My wife took banana bread which was a huge sweet and tasty ! Very satisfied.

I took a sandwich with peach and bacon and I have to say I was amazed at the taste, really nice .

Our friends took banana cake which was also delicious.

Definitely a must try

The food is just simple, the bread is not special, just sandwich bread. The materials inside are very good. So with better bread, the sandwich would be amazing. The orange juice is simple, wonderful, I have to go back there to get another big glass.

Been here a couple of times and it’s always a wonderful experience. The food is very good but what makes this place outstanding is the amazingly professional, warm and welcoming service . Thank you to the team for yet another great morning - even our dog Jaden loves being here.

Really enjoyed our lunch here. We were with 6 and the food was there very fast. The service was above and beyond. One person was a little sick and she got a blanket and a nice tea, without asking for it. So attentive :) And of course the food was amazing as well! Definitely recommend the satay with sweet potato fries

We had a really lovely continental breakfast. The food and beverages were really great and the staff were really friendly and super informative, having had a nice chat before we left. I'd really love to go back! Everything was extremely fresh and each component seemed to be of really decent quality.

Very nice clean design with a welcoming atmosphere, serving beautiful dishes. Delicious and fair priced. With even more welcoming team this place is just perfect.
Very calm to have something to eat, have a drink... just enjoy your time...
