The architecture of this place is outstanding.
Service is perfect.
Food is excellent.
Do opt for breakfast if you stay at the hotel.
It is very much worth the cost.
Small plus: garage parking is cheap

Nice restaurant, pleasant employees, to adjust the menu into a gluten-free variant was no problem.
If I want to say something disappointing then it was the mushroom-rissotto. I expected more and different kind of mushrooms then only these few tiny ones. The meal itself was great.

We stayed at Arsenaal for our wedding night in the executive suite with a bridal package and it was so nicely organized and the staff was so sweet. Merel made sure that our stay was the best it could be and she really took care of all the details for us. It was the perfect place to stay for our wedding night and our friends loved it as well. Would definitely love to stay there again.

What are great place, if you love history and love food. It was built in the old ammunitions depot and you can still see the old world rustic charm with the wooden beams and structure that adds a lovely theme to the place. The ambience is great.

Albeit a little expensive, the food and service were great and they have a nice range even though the menu may appear limited. The place has a long wine list with suggested pairing for the menu.

Excellent! A very unique and lovely hotel with amazing interiour decoration. We had a super clean and comfortable room and the staff was very friendly and helped us with our luggage without us asking.
There is a safe place for bicycles as well.

Excellent hotel and restaurant conveniently located in the city center of Woerden. Walking distance to train station. Historical building has unique features that add to the cozy ambiance of the place. Helpful friendly staff! COLD air conditioning was much appreciated during the heat wave. Highly recommended!

Great place for basically every time of the day. Personally, I really like the bar section. Wines are nice and they have a nice selection of finger foods. Furthermore I really like the styling of the place. Hope to spend the night here sometimes, although hotel rooms are a bit pricing if you ask me..

You can come here for just drinks and a snack, which are all lovely, but the dinner here is great to. Especially the dishes with meat in it are recommended, they really know how to prepare it well- but there's also plenty of vegetarian and vegan options which are very tasty! Not very cheap but well worth the price.

Possibly the best air-cured meat I've eaten in years. Very nice interior, spacious and surprisingly light for such a 'heavy' building.
It is located inside the old city arsenal, which still shows. Excellent food and great service. A must, when in Woerden.

Favourite hotel in Woerden. The Bar & Restaurant are good in their own right. The rooms in the hotel are no other by decor, they're spectacular. Alot of history in this old building, worth spending the time to savour it. Also worth noting, they do have a bike garage/storage and bike hire.

We had dinner in this very interesting place. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, the food is good and the staff is a very friendly. What could one ask for more?

The most charming hotel experience I've ever had. Hanske welcomed my wife and I warmly, allowed us to park our motorcycle inside the gate, and walked us to our room for an introduction. Moments later she brought us a personalized, hand-written card congratulating us on our honeymoon. The history of this place dates back to 1762 as the city's armory with its original timbers proudly displayed throughout. The restaurant is first rate and the cheese fondue was FANTASTIC! Breakfast in bed was fabulous. We did not want to leave but will definitely return. I would love to return annually.

Magnificent food, very well presented and in a gorgeous building! Used to be a warehouse of some sort, has an old characteristic feel and an open kitchen. Delicious food!

Had a family brunch here. Food was well made, altough the options were limited. Staff was very friendly. Keep in mind that the prices are pretty steep, a bit too much if you ask me, part of the reason seems to be the top location.

Really nice place in the center of Woerden. A good hospitality and good restaurant. Has an incredible kitchen in open space as to welkome guests for a good breakfast. Parking place Il Castello in the near of. Hope to come back!!
