The staff is really helpful. I went there for a backpack to hike / trek with. The guy who helped me was really quick and gave some great advice. The shoes area can be crowded but there is a number system with a beeper. You can take a beeper and continue browsing the store until it's your turn to be assisted. Really recommend this store for all your outdoor needs.

TLDR: great family owned store with helpful and knowledgeable staff.
We came for basic level hiking shoes and we did not feel like we had to be outdoorsy pros at all, the hiking/shoe department even has a queue system for getting help which makes it an easy quick wait before getting very in depth personal assistance from someone who has time for you.
There are different terrain obstacles to actually test shoes, and enough space to do a bit of walking around. The store feels very well though out and taken care of, facilities are very clean and even the cute tortoises and fish look well cared for and secluded enough to have no stress from store chaos. Love this store and we will definitely come back for more outdoor gear.

Lots of quality outdoor products are available here from bags, merino wool socks, base layers, cycling products and foot warmers to name a few. Pricey but definitely can last for years. Take a short break at the coffee corner for a free cuppa coffee or hot chocolate.

After years it still remains my go-to store for travel and hiking gear, specially boots and backpacks. Service is outstanding, prices are fair, considering you get mostly high quality brands.
Just be careful, if you're like me, the store might tempt you to buy more than you need.
