The De Lichtfabriek in Gouda offers an amazing dining experience in an industrial-style setting with a loft feeling, boasting a wonderful view of the grachten. The service was friendly and helpful, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. The menu features delicious food options ranging from snacks to indulgent three-course meals. Additionally, they offer a lovely selection of cocktails and a wide variety of beers to choose from. It’s worth noting that access to the restaurant requires going up stairs, but they provide a chair lift to assist those in need. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I look forward to visiting again when in Gouda.

Today we celebrate valentine day. Food was absolutely perfect. Ober was very friendly. I not speaks dutch and he gave me english menu. Coctails and dessert also very nice. This restaurant deserves on 5 stars

Calzone is more like a panino, I'd go for the hamburger! Great sweets as well

Went to De Lichtfabriek in Gouda with a group of 11 on a Tuesday at 2 pm. The employees were extremely nice, got our group seated quickly and took our order quickly. Some dishes we ordered were Focaccia Carpaccio which had beef carpaccio, lettuce, parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes. balsamic dressing, pesto, olives and capers. My friend got a Salmon Club Sandwich which had Salmon, Lettuce, Egg, Avocado cream, red onion rings, capers. chili mayonnaise and a side of nachos. Another dish our group got was a Chicken Club Sandwich Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, egg, fried bacon, chili mayonnaise and a side of Nachos. Overall great food and then great restaurant, would recommend for others to visit!

Ambience is good, cake is good, friendly service. I get to choose my seats from all the empty seats. Came alone, very chill place with nice music on the background!

Everything here was GOUDA!!! The staff were amazing! The menus are new and have not yet been translated to English, so we saw the waiters spend significant time translating for those so do not speak Dutch. We were able to get by because we were with someone who speaks Dutch but the waiters were happy to help anyway. They were willing to bend over backwards to make sure we got what we wanted. The food was amazing. There is something special about eating gouda in Gouda. Did you know gouda is pronounced Howda? This place is a gem so do not deprive yourself from a chance to eat here.

A great place to be for food, drinks and ambiance. Industrial architecture wonderfully adapted to it's new destination. Friendly people attending to the patrons.

The food here is very nice, but the best thing about this place is the atmosphere. Set in an old lighting factory. The staff are very helpful and the prices are good.

Food is very good. Staff is friendly and good looking.... also there helpful and very helpful. Also there is sort of informel atmosphere. This make you feel at home.

Nice food, vibe and staffs

My colleagues and I often come here after work on Fridays. The staff are always friendly and we even get some free appetizers on occasion because they recognize us and appreciate us coming there. They serve a nice variety of beers and snacks to go with it. The friendly staff plus the nice atmosphere (they have a wall of plants!) make this a definite recommendation.

Very nice experience in the over 100 years old former electrical factory in Gouda. Menu is well chosen so you can enjoy dishes from deer to halibut, all in the amazing atmosphere of old cranes and lamps of the light factory. Really awesome evening spent there. Highly recommended.

Fabulous food in a very cool building, all served up by efficient and friendly staff.

Excellent service, extremely nice and high quality food. Of course the prices are matching for that, but in that ambiance, it's definitely worth it!
