Gouds Glas

The best restaurant so far during my stay at Amsterdam. I chose the restaurant because of the beautiful interior environment, but the services and the food were surprisingly amazing. The food are reasonably priced. The carpaccio was super delicious and big in portion, only costs €11. We also ordered duck and Caesar salad, which are very tasty too. The duck was tender and juicy. The staff were very friendly and responded quickly (unlikely other restaurants we visited in Amsterdam before). One important thing is the drinks are cheaper and the staff are very generous with the drinks. I will definitely come back next time.

The day was wet, rainy, miserable. We walked inside this beautiful place just wanting to go to the toilet and ended up having lunch. The food was amazing !! The waitress that served us was so patient with us as we always ask too many questions on holidays. She spoke English very well. The toilets were clean. Beer was good and so we’re the non alcoholic spritzers

Amazing gouda soup, cozy atmosphere with blankets and outdoor fireplaces, and very friendly staff. Overall, 10/10, would recommend.

That was so good experience! Meat was excellent and service is on the very high level!

We were walking by the townhall looking at each restaurant menu, so until Goud Glass this young waitress came to us greet us and explain some of the recommended must try good food. At the end we went in had beers and wine. Bitterballen & cheese stick was good.

Tasty food, helpful and friendly staff. We sat in the outdoor area and enjoyed a variety of burgers, fries and other menu items.

Simply an amazing experience. Our thanks go to Dion de Bruin and Joszef Banicz for all the preperation and being able to serve this highclass meal! And Silke van den Hoek for the table experience.

The new menu is an arrival in Gouds Glas. High recommend the Venison and wiener schnitzel.

Stopped by for a quick bite on a short trip to the city. They're placed at a perfect location in the center of the city. You can hear the church bells from the outdoor seating and enjoy the view. I guess it might be way too crowded on the days when you have the cheese market.

Luckily we got a table up in the front on a sunny part of the day. Though we didn't explore much of the menu, the dishes were full of flavor and quite memorable presentation and taste. Another good sign was that we saw plenty of people who were clearly locals were stopping by for a short snack or a cup of coffee/tea.

Staff, location and food deserve a perfect 5.

Beautiful restaurant in historic buildings with large terrace with view on the monumental old city hall and surrounding square.

The place is amazingly welcoming. The terrace is heated and you can enjoy everything in peace. The service is impeccable and the food great. I recommend cheese soup! The girls on the staff have a beautiful smile and are very kind!

Nice food ( not incredible) and very good environment! Good presentation. Took a little bit to order but overall I would go there again.

Chose this restaurant by chance and very glad I did as it was a pleasure to dine there, the waitress was welcoming and nothing a problem. Will retun when in the area again
