We stopped by for loaded fries and a pint. Great location with a beautiful view. Heated outdoor seating. Friendly service. Very nice restaurant!

We had an amazing dinner at Gewoon Gouds. Portions were really big and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend the Gouda cheese soup and the spare ribs trio. The sauces were flavorful, and the meat was tender and fall off the bone. We definitely did not expect how big the serving would be!

Amazing food. Large plates and big taste! Lots of outdoor seating with heating. English menu, and English speaking waiters. Highly recommended! Good prices too.

Only complaint was that the "generous salad" wasn't so large.

I am welknown for being capable of eating a lot. But the XXL hamburger here was a real challenge. Wery well prepared, tasty food, friendly staff, acceptable prices. And the location is fantastic - centre of old Gouda city.

Loved their cheese soup with bread...order takes a little bit time but totally worth it.

Fabulous meal. I had to try the satay. The peanut sauce wad great and it was a large skewer. My waitress, Zaenab, was awesome. She helped me navigate the menu. Great beer selection. Amazing food. This place is always busy but the service is very quick. Best bitterballen I've had.

This is an amazing restaurant and even better if you can dine on the terrace and watch the locals and visitors walking around the historic square. We settled for the three course deal advertised for €29.99 and we were not disappointed with the generous portions. The waiters are attentive and remember what you were drinking. We are definately coming back to try out the other dishes! For starters I enjoyed the Zalm tartaar which was fresh and beautifully presented. I had the kogelbiefstuk dish with pepper sauce and it was scrumptious! I settled for the cheese platter for dessert and it was the biggest platter I have ever had. I ended up taking a doggie bag home ;-)

Nice place in the city centre with a beautiful view on the old town hall and Saint Johns cathedral. Great host and a nice variety of food and drinks.
Nice and cosy inside, with an even better view from the first floor. Many seats outside, both open and covered, heated when needed.

Incredibly delicious menu with lots of options. Staff was welcoming, helpful and effective. Food was cooked to perfection and we will return.

Nice place in the city centre for a, not too expensive, lunch and dinner. Warmed outside place, where you can even have a drink in the winter. Friendly employees, great kitchen staff. 10/10 would recommend!

The go to place in Gouda for a drink, especially during the evening in my opinion. The terrace is heathend with fires so it wont get cold. In the background and in the spotlights is the city hall of Gouda, which makes it even cozier. Friendly service, tasty food and a great variety of beers and craft beers.
