Baker’s house

I was desperately looking for a real German bakery in The Hague. I found this place and it does remind me 95% of a real German bakery. Unfortunately I went there after 3pm on a Saturday and my favourites (Quarkschnecke, Kirschschnecke) were already sold out. Next time I go a bit earlier. However, I had an Apfeltasche and it was just like in Germany, full of delicious apple. There are some seating possibilities in the bakery. I think they do not have a toilet though (need to double check this). It is only a 10 min walk from DH Centraal. It is closed on Sundays

Probably the best baker for the price in the Hague. Thankful it exists so I don't have to survive on Dutch sponge bread.

Great place to stop for coffee and pastries. Delicious baked sweet and savories for good prices.

Super lovely bakery! The cakes are great and the pastries are wonderful. Especially the coffee cake. People in the shop are super nice and helpful. I ordered a birthday cake but there was a little issue, however the store quickly solved the problem and the entire process was smooth and just sweet. I recommend this place v much!

Such good and healthy decadence! I keep coming back for the backlava but I try something new every time. I love it all!

Good and tasty food. But the service is the best you can get in Den Haag. Very kind and polite and willing to help you as much as you need. There is no rush to order something and you can take the time to chose and ask as many questions as you want.

We are addicted to this bakery as a family. Their products are always fresh, tasty, and fairly priced. Service has also been great every time we’ve been there.
