This new location of St. Patrick's Hospital is really nice 👍. The facility really big for a private hospital in Enugu. The doctors are very good especially in maternity.

This hospital has a very nice outlook and environment, but the services are so poor.
Water is their major problem. Even in the private rooms there's still no water. During the period my grandma was admitted here, we brought gallons of water from home to the hospital. You wake up early in the morning, you can't have your bathe or clean up till you find a way to get water. When the water actually flows it stays for a short period of time then it stops.
Imagine a hospital without steady water supply....

This hospital has a nice neat look but the care and service is disaster waiting to happen..they are all about money, nothing else..I brought my mom here and spent so much on medications that eventually killed her..I wish I never stepped my foot in here.the so called cardiologist Ejim.Only cares about money, keeps people waiting for hours,no order whatsoever,as a medical professional myself..I have never seen an uncaring Dr who should not be allowed to practice medicine
get few minutes with the so called heart Dr who only cares about seeing more patients than take time to listen to their needs...This place needs to be shut down because it is not for for purpose.
Avoid at all levels..

My first and only child died here on June 5, 2022. She died while still in the womb while my wife had started delivering her. My wife was left unattended for 5 to 6 hours before the occurrence. Supposedly, there were many people giving birth that Saturday.

The hospital is clean, nicely furnished and well equipped but it lacks the necessary staff to run efficiently. After loosing our child, my wife stayed for 10 days to recover. I can't count how many times I looked for a nurse and none was available. I had to remove the IV from my wife's hand several times.

The doctors know what they are doing but they are bogged down with work. Many work numerous places and are usually tired and exhausted while doing their work. Prof, as the most senior doctor is known, is a gem but he can't be everywhere at once.

Moreover, a lot of thier departments, most especially the accounting department, is not up to the task of doing their jobs. After being discharged by 8:30, it took over 5 hours before our file was costed and we were able to pay.

Overall, we had a horrible experience at this hospital. It may not be because of the actual care given but rather the times it was not. I recommend more staff. I truly hope that what happened to my wife and I doesn't happen to anyone else.

This Hospital has the worst customer service ever, my wife and my newborn are currently in this hospital (Executive Private Room at the rate of N7,500 a night) water is not running and the nurse had the effrontery to tell my wife who's still in pain to get a bucket, go downstairs and fetch water. This is worse than a government hospital. The management is so unprofessional in their conduct.
