I am in love with the serenity of this place , its like heaven on earth , gives off. That 1980s vibes . It’s an ideal place for a getaway, sober reflection, meditation or just to unwind alone and also for praying for Catholics and non Catholics . The security there is tight , they employ cordial and friendly security men . I have the liberty to meet the head Priest and he was so friendly. They offer cheap accommodations for as low as N3500 or 2000 , but you got to share the rooms with follow pilgrims, for a more relaxing room you pay up to 6500 , the food is affordable with some local delicacies . Outside I spotted a group of army officers along the roads that leads to the pilgrimage Centre . But definitely they needed to fumigate the place to rid the black flies that small black not easily seen flies that bite and cause itching sensation. Apart from that they deserve five stars. But if you wore long skirt of trousers or flies repellent cream I think you are good to go. Make sure I take slots of pictures with this cool and awesome holy statues
