Mine was alluring at sibre camp jalingo. I miss that place it evokes sweet memories. Facilities are on check and updated unlike other camps. Weather was nice and calm. Camp officials from military to civilians are nice. No force on corp members. Orientation course was nice.. What I hated most was SAED😂(don't follow me). Thank you

Taraba camp is no doubt one of the best NYSC Orientation camps in Nigeria, the environment is clean including the toilets, good access to water and light!!!, the best soilders are deployed there and there was no incidents of theft when I camped their. But just like every other northern state, the sun from Taraba is just #20😁😁 so be sure to go with sun screen.

I love the people of Taraba ---calm, collected, deeply intelligent and human. My experience at the camp was thrilling. I felt the Nigerian spirit. I understood that nothing is actually wrong with our unity or coming together in 1914. I think the fundamental problem is that the country's unity has badly been politicised by unscrupulous politicians. Indeed, the camping is where everybody gets to understand Nigeria properly. To me, what divides Nigeria is the extreme poverty it is still contending with. I noticed young folks from poor backgrounds didn't usually get around with their folks from middle income or high income families. To me, the division lies much more on the wealth gap as against religion or ethnicity reasoning.

Good camp and facilities. I remember fondly the morning before I left, before dawn, in preparation for my call to bar ceremony. I shared a keke ride to the capital Jalingo with folks whose names I have forgotten. I never returned, and I never saw the camp end.

I was put off by the extreme weather and the remoteness of Taraba, not by the Taraba people. I can recall a few friends I made. They never lasted beyond the camp. We still follow one another on social media, good enough.

Neat environment.

However, I think much still has to be done on improving the welfare of the people of Taraba, many of whom are living below the global poverty line.

Sincere gratitude to the two Obinna who kept me company, and to the Catholic community.

I never really got a chance to mingle. I think, under the lovely harmattan weather in Taraba then, that would have been a memory to live with for a long time. The girls were so beautiful and buxeous.

And here is a fact: I didn't know why Platoon 3 didn't come first throughout the camping period, particularly in sanitation because I was sure my team did a good job.

I love the military and their organisation--effective and efficient. Thanks to the General commander in charge then for his deep wisdom and humanity.

I love Taraba.

It was cold daily from the hours of 5pm - 9am and begins to get hot from about 10am to 4pm. On a general note, NYSC taraba camp is an okay place with good structures though many need repairs.
