Amaokwe Item Town Hall

My home town. It's a place where the villagers meet to discuss important matters in the village. Most times the council of chiefs meet there too. Amaokwe Item town hall has been used for so many things like - General Village gatherings, men village meetings, women village meetings, political meetings, Religious meetings, weddings, birthday parties, burials, and other events.... There's a small prison at the back of the Hall. Used by the village vigilantes to discipline those vaulted... It's a place you'll like to visit...

I rate this place 5 star because of the effects of the activities carried out here on the people of the area. Skills acquisition like hair making, computer education, sewing and adult learning activities are carried out here Monday to Friday.

Just as the name implies, it's the Town Hall of Amaokwe Item people. Various Meetings are held there for the betterment of the Community.

A place of meeting for the locals especially to deliberate on important events affecting the community, also has a micro finance bank

They served all kinds of drinks and local side dishes...

It's very beautiful and nice colour blending. Big enough for 700 people.
