Abia State NYSC Orientation Camp

ABIA STATE NYSC ORIENTATION CAMP is not for the weak, It's strictly regimented, thing's are costly, you should have at least 30,000 for upkeep, the officers are nice and welcoming, There's no mosquitos in the camp. Applying for relocation in Abia state works always... So there's no need to pay any money to anybody just bring your medical reports. It's a sweet experience for me

The camp is beautiful, it can be fun and also stressful. It's a once in a lifetime experience so enjoy it to the fullest.

Abia state Orientation Camp ground, Ummuna Bende LGA of Abia State is a well organized and conducive area for the Corps Member. Here many people meets irrespective of their backgrounds.

Although the located areas for the Camp here in Abia state is a very far situated area from the city, almost 1-2 hrs journey to Umuahia. Of course their weather is conducive.
This place is a quiet a place. Excellent.

Get all documents ready and original conducive area good food only a little expensive, eat with caution because things can go side ways...

Abia state orientation camp is a pretty cool and secured place. Experience at the camp was very wonderful.

Abia is a home of trade and enterprise, it has the large international market in Aba where indigenous product are made for domestic use all round the country and exported to international countries across the world, it also have Onitsha market the world international market in some far kilometres in the neighbourhood to mention but few.

It's a nice environment. Alot of nice people to welcome you and to show you what's right and what's wrong. The people are nice and friendly.

It's a nice place and their hospitality is top notch 🤗

Congratulations☺☺ if you're viewing this as it means you or someone close to you has been posted to camp in ummuna Bende camp. the environment is conducive, no mosquitoes, abundant water supply, friendly officials but the weather can be harsh during the day but then once it 7:00pm it start to freeze up and overall everywhere will be cold🥶🥶. Don't get dupe by anybody claiming to help you with redployment as you can apply it yourself in camp for free, as at my batch 22A, 95% of self redployment on health ground was approved, so don't waste your money paying someone to help you❌❌. Collect the form, apply and submit, attend the interview and that all.

Most things you want are always available at the Maami market, the charges might be alittle different though, as at my time we bought plate of rice #350 which includes meat and water, so it reasonable enough. Some other things are charged extra like printing coloured document at the Maami will cost you #500 each page😫😫, hence it advisable to do all that from home. Oh. I remember, the Man O War drilling is optional, don't go and break or fracture your bones trying to show off😂. It not worth it, the scheme is to make money for the photographers as they won't allow you snap with your phones there😂😂.

if you're reading this before leaving home, and you're a Muslim, don't bother buying bucket as it available in the MCAN mosque in camp where you can borrow it and use it throughout your camping days and also some white shoes then return it back when you're leaving the camp😊😊. I think the christian have same offer for the christians but I'm not sure Sha.The soldiers will always be at your tail, double up, double up😂😂 he go reach one time you will be like kuku kill me, I no dey double anything😂😂 There is barely enough time except Sundays. You will be extremely stressed but you will survive, you will get used to it😆😆

They are theives in camp, secure your valuables very well, they are among you, even them also uses padlock for there bags😂, imagine a theif securing it valuables from other theives😂😂 especially when the camp is going to an end, stealing is very rampant then. BE WISE!!!👉😠

The camp police also, they are corpers like you but they usually feel like they are ontop of the world, be mindful of them or better still hide your tag before you abuse them or give them voice😁😁 they can be very annoying 😃because the director has given them the power to write down anyone who disobey them tag numbers and bring it to her after which she will call them outside publicly during the morning meditation to serve punishment, so avoid them 😂😂

If you're an igbo smoker or drug addict, forget it, you won't find it in camp, and NDLEA personnel are present walking among you, they can easily tell and arrest you if they suspect you took drugs and immediate test will be carried out on you in the camp clinic. If you test positive, you will be de-camped immediately so better to avoid it, normal Cigarette is available though as that isn't really harmful, you won't be arrested for smoking that in Maami 🤒🤒

How can I forget camp kitchen, platoons rotate being in the camp kitchen everyday from Platoon 1 to 10 very stressful but you can join the kitchen when your platoon is on duty to dodge parade😉😉, the food is manageable as there is no way you will compare it to your home 5star food.
The day rice or jollof rice is normally cooked is the most days with longest queue😂😂😂better you go early 😁😁 And be mindful when chewing the rice Sha, I won't tell you than that😂😂

Overall, you will have a very stressful😂😂 and fun filled🥰🥰 camping experience at the Umunna Bende camp Abia State. I wish you the very best of your camping experience.💯

Stressful but fun.. Meeting new people is one of my hobbies.. NYSC camp is a place to be and I beg federal government to improve in welfare of NYSC because the feeding is not okay at all. I love my country and am seeing a great and better Nigeria

The environment is clean, hardly mosquitoes , but water is a problem there. If you are going there go with power bank, because no electricity, and you only have people there when the corpers are in camp. They have enough bed for everybody. The camp market offers you, your basic needs, except those that are not basic.
