Whether it is in Penang, KL or JB, BookXcess doesn't fail.

The one at Sunway (above NSK) is simply out of this world. Even if you are not a book lover, do make it a point to check it out. Be amazed by the mega structures where the books are displayed.

There is also a wide selection of children's books.

Love it, huge bookstore with large collection of children's books at very reasonable prices.

Only pity is that ALL the books are shrink wrapped so we can't really preview the contents.

Massive book store with tons of books for people of all ages. I am not a book worm but I am impressed by the huge collection of books. This was my first visit without my children. Will definitely come again and bring my children along. I bought some comics and a book to kick off my reading habits.

The number of bookstores are getting lesser nowadays, let alone a big and nice one.

BookXcess Sunway JB is not only big but has an unique design with many titles and 8-metre-high bookshelves. I saw titles that were uncommon but interesting and the prices were reasonable.

Most of the books were wrapped up to prevent them from damages. We bought some books here and would likely come back again.

been here twice. got the insta pic aesthetic vibe, definitely a great place for ootd photo shoot. their books are reasonably priced that's what i love the most. Definitely will return.

Such a big bookshop. Loving it. So many books but can't see what the content as all books are wrapped. Luckily, the 2 books I bought are exactly what I'm looking for.

Nestled in a retail park in the middle of nowhere although just a few minutes drive from the 2nd Causeway.

The interior has the same design language as the BX at KL but the space here seems more spacious, the books & the place also seems better maintained. Not a place to look out for the latest titles but a curated place with an excellent catalogue of Hardcover & Illustration titles for keepsake purposes, and mostly at an extremely affordable prices. A place for the book enthusiasts to immerse themselves for a good afternoon, that is if they could find the place.

Great selection of English books. Will come back and spend more time.next time we are through, maybe the cafe will be open and serving?

A must-visit for any bookworm visiting Johor Bahru. From the moment you step inside, you'll be captivated by the stunning design. The spacious and well-lit layout is combined with the impressive central display of books.

Whether you're looking for the latest bestseller, a hidden gem, or a classic favourite, you're highly likely to find it here. Their diverse collection covers a wide range of genres, including fiction, non-fiction, children's books, and more.

While I was exploring the bookstore, I noticed that Café Wolf, the in-house cafe, seemed to be permanently closed. This is likely due to the Covid pandemic. However, Miyakori Coffee is just a few minutes walk on the ground floor of the same mall for those looking for a coffee fix.

Very beautiful well lit bookstore. Its spacious, huge, and great to hangout. Its heaven for book lovers, comic lovers and game lovers as there is huge variety of books, comics and games sold. The price is cheaper than other bookstores as well. There is even a piano you can play.

Spacious book space to spend whole evening here but probably wont notice if you didnt look carefully from entrance right to the escalator. Interesting and unique interior design. They had cafe at the end corner of the store but its not opening now.

Lovely book shop and IG worthy for sure! Saw many families taking photos from all over the shop. Books are organised in sections well and there is a sense of humour in categorising them. Prices are reasonable and we would come just to visit :)

Wear nice clothes if you're planning to go here. A lot of sections with aesthetic settings, good for taking pictures. Affordable price and also varieties of genres.

This bookstore is huge! Reminded me of this bookstore in Bangkok.

The children's section is in this lovable 'cave'. You have to find the entrance to it.

Upstairs you have floor to ceiling bookshelves. There is also a secret mid-floor book enclave!

I've encountered environments like this in movies, and in reality, it's truly amazing almost like stepping into a world filled with too many captivating stories from books.
