Café Markisa

Impromptu plan to have our lunch here. But it was such a nice experience. We really enjoyed the lake breezes while having our mouth-watering pizza. Had markisa juice (a must try!) for the first time and I love it! Will definitely come again to try other dishes

Different dining experience. The place is situated next to a lake, with refreshing gusts of wind (well maybe too strong sometimes but nature has its way). The food selection is nice if you like lamb and beef. The seating area is aplenty and parking spaces available.

Honestly first time u came feel to far. But is worth it. Food is tasty, i like pizza, asam pedas tetel to generous portion. Pasta so tasty too. Kambing bakar is great

Their kambing bakar gila is superb that you can go crazy. Their signature passion fruit juice is a must. Asam pedas tetel is absolutely superb. Pedas masam cukup rasa. Spaghetti Bolognese is not my favourite BUT at cafe markisah, it is my favourite meal!

My second time here. The Patin Tempoyak is delicious. I must remember to share drinks next visit. Daging bakar so juicy n soft

easy access. got many parking spaces. during my visit, not so crowded. maybe because i went on weekday. got many tables, lot's of menu including western food. also small cuties cake shop, coffee shop, pizza stall which is the pizza is so delicious. but the thing i really like was the cookies at the front before entering the eating space. the smell so aromatic, the biscuit itself so so soooooo delicious. got 3 types, milo, kitkat and oreo. my preference is milo which is not so sweet, little bit of bitter. kitkat is somehow so sweet for me while orea is kind a less sweet for me. hahaha. last time, i taste their nasi daging bakar. the meat is tender. time service is good. no need to wait for long time for the food. but careful when ordering their water. it got in a big big cup which is so hard to finish it🤣🤣🤣🤣. you may consider to share between your partners or family because the amount is enormous 🤣🤣. also got lake, you can relaxing your mind. got swing, you can ootd. got garden, you can buy tree or flower. the toilet got 16 door. no need to wait. got praying place too.

The food, the ambience, the service is wonderful. I saw daughter's of owner Café helping their staff too. That's awesome.

Lake view cafe, good food with various Malay traditional dishes and western cuisine. The taste was awesome, really recommended

The price is a bit high but worth it. The service and the staff is good. Here you should try Jus Markisa, Kambing Bakar and Daging Bakar. It's marvelous. Other foods are also delicious such as pasta, chicken chop and others. Large and spacious parking area. The restaurant area is also large and spacious. There is a lake, swings, a pier for kayaks, trees and hammock. Can sit and relax, relaxing with a peaceful atmosphere. Surau and toilet are also provided. Apart from its own Cafe, there is also Street Barista, Pizza Oven Kayu Api and others.

2nd time visit.. previously came during night time.. preferable come during day time.. the road too dark at night..

The surrounding NICE, healing place? yeah..

I love everything about this cafe ♥ especially the scenary.. absolutely lovely and recommend other to visit this place.. totally a hidden gems.

Had a pleasant dining experience here. Generous portion with pleasant taste. There is also food stall where you can order and dine at the table/bench available. Beware, it might get crowded during weekdays or late in the evening. Better come early 😙

Love the food and the place. But with qr ordering really depend on Hp reception which was not great for mine. But lucky can order manually which took awhile.

They will be changing their opening hours to close on Tuesday from 25/12/23 onwards . Do take note on that.

Some cafe and other stuff around there

Place is pretty and environment is quite chilling. Many food options here and the drink comes in huge cup so it is worth it. Food is tasty especially Set Daging Bakar. Doesn’t need to wait long for the food to arrive despite the crowd on a weekday. There are stalls nearby as well such as Street Barista and Pizza. Just take note that the route towards the cafe is pretty rocky.

Good service & atmosphere.. many type food

Simply become our family favourite "makan2" spot, not only the delicious food(we love having daging salai masak lemak for lunch!) but also the ambient and the activities that you may include after finish your meals. You might like to try kayak or even just walk around the premise. The arrangement of tables considerably roomy not as packed as previous. Since some of tables near the edge of the lake the kids would love to enjoy the scenery and they might feed the ducks and geese which swim freely nearby! Totally recommended.

This Cafe is very Big place and it also have a lake with duck, It's great to take a picture here. And it have 4 different stores So I give 3 stars for all food and 2 stars to view result it 5 star for me

A very good place to eat and relax

Wow its good food here. Price reasonable here. Its tasty n nice. I ate ikan patin tempoyak n udang galah. Western are also found here. Nice to bring family along. Pizza kayu bakar are also good here. Cool n calm feeling......
