Chop Hua Bee 和美饼家

This bakery sells different type of traditional pastries and some modern pastries. Highly recommended is their tau sar peah. Unfortunately it ran out when I was there and had to wait for half an hour for the next batch. They also sell muar otak-otak which is delicious. I also like their pineapple tarts which are not too buttery. A place to drop by, if one like traditional pastries.

Recommended by the local. They have all kinds of Chinese pastry here.
The waiter was so nice to patiently explain each pastry to us. When told we were looking for something as wedding gift, he took out a special 双喜 packaging from the kitchen for us. Very thoughtful !

I bought their lapis, yet to try but it looks promising. Their 香饼 is famous so I won’t be disappointed. I also bought peanut rice cracker and the 太阳饼.

Tau Sa Piah is limited selling, and it had the specific timing for sell, there are big and small for you to select.

Except tau Sa Piah, there are old school biscuits for sell too, including the famous “Ah Mei” Muar otak otak.

The Tau Sa Piah is damn nice especially when it was just done and remain hot.

Friend bring me here. Tangkak most famous biscuit . Buy some as souvenir Rm 4.50

The design like toilet paper roll from picture , but size is small . N texture soft .
With original taste n original packaging with Chinese word . Aunty uncle love the childhood taste !

Popped by tangkak beef noodle for lunch and chance upon this tau sar piah shop. Waited for about 15mins to get our hands on these freshly baked tau sar piah. Generous filling and crispy layers. 5pcs for rm8.30. So worth it! Should’ve bought more! Definitely will stop by here again if we are going to Melaka next time!

There was quite a queue for their famous freshly baked sweet bean criscake. But after tasted it, definitely worth the wait. The 'ear biscuit' is pretty good too.

Oh my God, their tau sau peah (tambun biscuit) are better than Penang. Their are famous for freshly baked tau sau peah. Only here you can find sweet tau sau peah and red bean tau sau peah. Guess what good stuff need to wait and queue for it, are you agree with it? This shop don't accept order, and every customer only limit to buy 50 pieces per person. Trust me this tau sau peah worth all the waiting.

Tau Sar piah is delicious. We went there about 10.00am and waited about 1/2 hour for freshly baked tau sar piah. Worth the wait better than Kluang and Penang tau sar piah. Try it

One of the best sweet and salty tau sa piah. Not too sweet and salty, with moist filling and non-oily pastry. Yums!

Came here for tau sar pia ( bean paste biscuit) as recommended by a local, and was not disappointed at all. Upon entering, the aroma already gave me a heads up of what's to come.

The store also sells an assortment of other confectionery and biscuits that locals can identify easily.

The store makes the tau sar pia fresh daily, and has limited stock. So do come early if you want to purchase.

Queue until you forgot what you want. Just queue and wait lol… the smell is really good but is it worthy? Depends on yourself

Their tau sar peah (豆沙饼) is simply superb. Better than all the ones I've had in Penang. (trust me, I love my tau sar peah's and have tried countless brands). Definitely recommend this to all tau sar peah lovers out there.

Really nice tau sar piah! I had the freshly baked salty ones and it was really nice. Had 2 at one go. It’s packed in pack of 5z The sweet ones are smaller in size and also yummy but personally, I prefer the salty ones. Sweet ones are packed in pack of 10. Staff are friendly and will explain to you. Shop accepts credit card payment. Do be prepared to wait in the queue.

First time visited this well known shop in Tangkak for tau sar piah. And others too. Bought back for colleagues in KL. They love it n next time got to buy double the qty for them!
