I see this newly open LightOn cafe as best Hiden gem at Balakong area. The cafe owner seem that very down to earth person, they willing to build the brand slowly rather than throwing lots budget on hiring gunners nor tik toker nor influecer, they taking serious step by step marketing and slow but steady customer development on especially their main guest from the opposite AKASA resident need. So when I had to come up with a suggestion on where to eat among us, I quickly suggested all my friends that LightOn because even it's normal cafe, but they have many delicious choices, highly recommend for whom never been here yet.

◾We are group of 3 person, among then, the XL Chicken Drumstick Nasi Lemak and XL size Chicken Drumstick grill Chicken Chop is probably the best option to go if you want to have fully satisfaction on food taste and value of money. Reasonable price varies depending on the main course that you choose. But looking at AKASA area consider as middle upper resident area, then we happy to said that both the XL Chicken Drumstick Nasi Lemak and XL size Chicken Drumstick grill Chicken Chop are definitely MUST TRY delicacy meal at this cafe.

◾No recommend for the mushroom soup, don't think it made from fresh mushroom but instant commercial pack.

Definitely will visit again!

The nasi lemak with fried chicken is verrrrry nice!
Fried chicken is fresh out from the oil. Hot, juicy, tender and well marinated! Skin is Krispppy 🫶🏼

Coconut rice is fragrant and not too overwhelming and sambal is more balanced sweet spicy style.

Owner is polite n considerate. Already offer wifi password when seated 🥹🥹🥹

Amazing cafe with delicious food and ambient vibes to work, their cafe latte is really good and the staff are very friendly & helpful.
The only complain i would have about food is the amount of oil there was in their nasi lemak chicken. It would've been better if the chicken was not very oily

Also, it's pork-free
