Emperor Cinemas (R&F Mall)

The cleanest nicest cinema in JB everything here is spotless! Self-serve kiosk and contactless checkout, full concession stand, clean restrooms, wide selection of international movies, and discounted tickets on Wednesday. Much better than City Square.. Will be back!

Top-notch restroom, clean and new. The lobby was nicely design, luxurious is the word for it. The movie screen was as advertised 4K, you could not see the pixel dots like other cinemas, worth going for those likes to enjoy high definition pictures, movie halls was spacious and has lots of space, the cups holder can be lifted for seemless couple seats. Prices was affordable, I watched the Joker at RM18, bought the tickets online.

Cozy place to catch your favorite movie as they have a wide variety of international and local films. Price Is reasonable and cinema is clean

I love the experience. Huge cinema with very comfy chairs with plenty of legroom. The price is quite affordable. One movie ticket is RM20, if you're a VIP member is only RM14. I totally would recommend Singaporeans to come and experience this for yourself.

Btw to sign up for a membership you just need to install the app and register, the sign up is free too.

It was a really lovely cinema. Though the selection may be a little lesser than usual cinemas but the price is cheap and the food is good too. The hall is comfortable and environment is nice. Hope it will come back again one day

Cinema is pretty comfy. Each hall is smaller than the convention movie theaters and has some weird structuring, but it's fine. At the time of review (December 2019), the pricepoint is very good, much better than others. Student discount gets you a great deal and the lifetime membership can earn you some free tickets.

Had a wonderful experience here! Staff were really great and in particular shout out to the guy scanning the ticket on 10th May as he was kind enough to rush over to help me open the hall door as I was holding food and drink in both hands. Really above and beyond service.

Hall was nice and clean. The seats are leather and very comfortable. Sound system, air-conditioning, screen are all modern and well maintained. Price is also great at only RM10 from Mon-Wed(excluding some movies). There is also free WiFi both in the mall and in Emperor Cinemas(my mall WiFi disconnected when I was at the cinema but a helpful staff member provided me the password).

It is located in R&F Mall which is very easy to get to from CIQ/JB Sentral via the covered link bridge. About an 8 minute walk all the way down into the mall from CIQ.

Best for family to watch movie here is not too pack as others & and place cheapest. But anyhow, is going to be close this end of month 30/6/23. The food also nice but a bit pricey.

Not that bad but the popcorn look so small, if you like caramel favourite you will love it.❤

Cheap, clean and good. Just a 10-15 mins walk from the checkpoint. Cinemas are usually very empty, so easy to catch blockbusters. Highly recommend.

One of the best cinemas I’ve went too. All the halls are equipped with 4K projection system by Sony and Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound System. Seats are made out of leather and are very comfortable. Popcorn was decent. Toilets were very clean. Only pet peeve is that the layout of the cinema was quite weird but overall wonderful experience in this cinema.

Fair new cinema, clean and well maintained. Seats are synthetic leather seat, screen quite big, under crowded.
