Variety of local food to choose. Not much choice for seafood. The dessert area was fantastic.

Sushi rice can do better mixing.

Satay for beef and chicken was excellent 😋

Dinner buffet

All the way from singapore,
We went there for our wedding anniversary dinner, we were amaze by the food varieties! The food is great, staff are really welcoming, friendly and very approacable. Staff are also very attentive when clearing the use plates everytime we had our meals. Love the seafood section, the bbq section, satay snd many more, and not forgetting the desserts section. This is one of our best buffet we come to, so far in Johor.

We would like to comment on some of the dishes that need improvement, which is the fish dishes. Fish dishes are quite dry. But its still ok. We believe it can be improve. Beside than that, everything is good. The restaurant is also clean and well maintain. We really love the dessert section. Too much, till we are so full and cant even manage to try everything. We will definetly coming back again very soon to enjoy the buffet there. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner celebration a memorable one.

They had a wide range of food from cold cuts (Cheese and Salami), Salad, English Breakfast, Prorridge, Cakes, Breads, Prata and Local Delights.

Highly suggest to take the breakfast meal included in the hotel package as it is VERY WORTH! Try avoiding the weekends as the crowd is huge.

I like the dessert area, there are ice kacang, ice cream, cakes, local kuih. My favourite is their odeh odeh. Service is great in keeping our dining table clean. Seafood is limited but overall good price and good food.

Excellent customer service as the staff are pretty attentive to our needs and orders. Well done!

Breakfast here at BLD that comes with the room stay is scrumptious. Plenty to pick from and lots of live cooking. Just love it. Breakfast here is just amazing.

I book for family gathering & celebration on weekdays. We book private dining. The food is great, good choices. No wonder the rating is good. Should have come on weekend as there is much more choices. The service is really superb, many thanx to Ms Liza & Ms Shamila with the smooth process from booking untill payment. Ambience is great, the place is spacious. Tq Renaissance, will definitely come again, more breakfast & lunch buffet to try.

Great buffet experience. I have been here twice for Ramadan Buffet and it never disappoints me. Will come back for more. Love to try their lunch and dinner buffet sometime.

Almost entirely reserved, but we managed to make an early booking under Mr Masum.
Receptionists and servers provide friendly and prompt service.

Many foods to choose from, from appetisers to desserts.

Excellent gathering space and atmosphere.

Beautiful night for me and my lovely husband. The food was good and special thanks to our personal waiter (actually, I don't remember his name) for the great service. International buffet and local cuisines. Waiters very attentive and the the Chef give a final touch on food with pride. I will definitely recommend others who talk through foods as main language.

Lots of breakfast spread and also fresh juices to be spoiled. Taste wise acceptable nothing wow but service staff very friendly and attentive

I must say, this is the best Hi-Tea I have had in all my time in Johor Bahru. The set is generous; not the typical small portions a Hi-Tea set has elsewhere. The quality of the food is great, and yes the hospitality service is amazing. We had a lovely afternoon, full of laughter, full of beautiful photos, and full happy tummies! This is our genuine feedback, as bloggers & international travellers. This is not a sponsored review, just a group of happy foodies.

One of must visit to Renaissance Hotel, JB. Their food are delicious & staff are courtesy & helpful. Must come here & feel their environment. Thank you.

They only have baked oysters on Friday and Saturday..we went on a Sunday but the seafood is good too
Make sure you go at 6:30pm as they food is finishing fast ... they can't top up fast enough which is... the down side..but all good..just come earlier

Friendly and attentive staff always around at your call. Food was nice but there wasn’t much variety available.

Very good. Food very nice. I have been here for more than five times. This is the first i give my review. i love the cheese here. I also like the tepayaki ideas. Because most Hotel foods are cold, but this round i tried tepayaki which is hot. Five star food for five star hotel. Worth my time! Highly recommended.

Went there for last year Christmas Buffet Dinner. Foods were amazing.

Went with family for the Christmas day buffet lunch. Really worth the money as there is a good spread of tasty and delicious food. The coffee is excellent.
