An extraordinary visit to Singapore and Johor Bahru is a fascinating experience, combining two vibrant and lively destinations. In Singapore, you could explore the famous Botanic Gardens, indulge in culinary delights from the hawker districts, or take a stroll along the iconic Marina Bay promenade. Then, transitioning to Johor Bahru would offer a different cultural perspective, where you could visit the renowned Legoland theme park, enjoy the lively atmosphere of historic neighborhoods, or shop at numerous shopping centers. This combination would provide a rich journey filled with experiences and adventures.

We come during night time, its not easy to find the trail to the temple, even GPS also fail to guide us. After asking the local for direction, only we can make it. The temple is truely magnificent, and shining. Entrance fee is adult RM10, kid RM5. Worth visit when you travel to JB.

I went to this temple in afternoon, but it was closed. Yet most of the Hindu temples close in afternoon, but still tried to get entry. Also tried to call someone inside the temple, but no response. Finally I have to come back without darshan. I don't know when I will get chance again to see this temple. I would strongly recommend to all tourists to visit the temple. Thanks

Beautiful temple, must see! Currently closed for renovations but they were kind enough to show us around anyway since we had travelled across the world to visit

Malaysia's most distinctive temple. Overall, the design is quite artistic. I assume   The temple is Asia's first GLASS structure. The temple is a simple South Indian style structure . Inside the temple, the atmosphere is quite different. Being significantly more detailed and entirely covered in glass and glass mosaics. It's an inconvenience to get to the temple, especially if you're driving, but I thought it was worth it.

The Indian temple building build in glass so splendour and shine. The stuff is so helpful and friendly. Donation is needed to upgrade the temple.

It was simply amazing here, whether you're in JB for a day or a week I highly recommend visiting this. It's only a matter of minutes walking distance from JB Sentral.

The temple is truly a sight to behold – photos do not do it any justice whatsoever.

With figures of religions from all different faiths this is a place for anyone to be amazed by.

I'm quoting from memory so if I'm wrong correct me please but entry is 10 Ringgit, there are also charges to leave your shoes in the basket and they suggest you donate when you leave.

Today we visited Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple, the temple is one of the oldest temple in Malaysia and it is listed in the Malaysian Book of Records as the first and only glass temple in the nation on 12 May 2010. Today also the celebration of Chaitra Pournami, which is the Indian festival. We also get everyone a candle to pray for better health. 🙏🏻

💰 RM10 (adult) RM5 (kid)

Visited in March before the shutdown.

From the exterior, the Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple is an innocuous looking South Indian style temple with a traditional gopuram. Inside the temple it's very different. Being far more elaborate and completely decorated in glass and glass mosaics. The decoration looks heavily influenced by Thai Buddhist temples, except that this temple has taken the glass to the extreme of having the glasswork everywhere. Other than the eye catching glassworks, the temple is fairly typical of Hindu temples with statues of deities dotted around the temple. Surprisingly, the temple also has sculptures of figures from religions including Christianity and Buddhism.

Overall, a pretty standard temple, but with eye-catching interiors. The temple is a pain to get to, especially if walking, although I thought it was worth it nevertheless.

Beautiful temple. Worth the trip if you like to visit temples. Best temple in JB. Cost RM10 for foreigners. Make sure to pay inside not outside. You can get scammed by someone not from temple, like we did.

Closed for renovation. Plan to go only after it’s completed. The map shows the location incorrect. It is just walkable from bello hotel 2-3 mins right near the flower market. Behind Jalan fook road.

Entrance fee for foreigners is 10 RM for adults and 5 RM for children. They charge 3 RM per device if you want to take a picture. The Temple's a bit small but the glass interior is lovely. The temple is a bit isolated so you need to take a taxi to get here.

Very unique and beautiful temple made of glass! Need Entrance fees, allowed to take photo with no additional charges and the shoes need to be placed in the basket provided before going in. The guy there will ask you to purchase their biscuits for donation. 🤓 Unique culture for everyone to explore!

Goddess "Bhadra Rudra Kaliammal" temple for the devotees. Saturdays there will be special prayer and abhisheka for "Lord Vishnu" where the devotees can join in. Devotees are allowed to do "abhiseka" for Lord Shiva with few thousands Rudra Sha that implanted in the wall. A place that should not mist by me if I have visited Johor Bahru town because I can see myself into the glasses that implanted inside this temple.

The design of this temple is simply majestic. It may not look like much from the outside, but it is breathtaking inside. The temple is well taken care off and is very peaceful and clean. Alot of thought and hardwork was definitely put into the planning and construction of this temple. Most of the money collected from this temple is given to a charity that they are associated with.

Apart from the Hindu dieties, there are also statues of Sai Baba, Jesus, Mother Theresa. A fee would be collected if you're looking to take some pictures or videos.
