Arrived 15 mins before the official return time. Nice staff was waiting for me and inspected the car. All good. She noticed a cut in the rear tire. We were lucky that the tire did not explode as we drove approx 1500 km in two weeks.
Be aware that They have moved the JB office in the JO hotel opposite te Double Tree hotel.

I usually rent my cars from hertz and europcars.. first time trying hawks.. was quite skeptical at first because of the brand seriously but I’m impressed by the service of Raymond and Ayu from hawks JB outlet.. Ayu is very helpful in explaining the use of the car etc, Raymond is very professional, he explain the docs in details when we collected the cars.
Upon returning my car, my kid left his iPhone and my coach sunglasses in the car. I tried calling them and Raymond help retrieve it and I manage to get it back even on a sat when he suppose to off work at 1pm! Thanks Raymond!

Fantastic service from beginning to end. Caught a cab from Woodlands and showed the driver address and he dropped us at the door. When asked doorman where Hawk Rent a Car was he escorted us straight to their door. Hawk Rent a Car was exceptional. Very helpful. Car had the best GPS system I have used. Forget Google Maps. Once you understood the names you could punch the details in. Car was clean and we both did a check of it. Hawk even let me borrow their touch n go card toll card for our trip which I topped up. Easy as.
Got the list of numbers in case of emergency. Never needed.
On return we checked over car and Hawk Rep called us a Grab at half the cost of a taxi. Explained to the driver where we needed to go and we pay driver. So helpful and sent us on our way with a smile and wave. Highly recommend Hawk Rent a Car based on our trip.

No hassle bookings. Direct booking on hawk website and gotten the confirmation email within 3p minutes. Collection of car straight forward, just passport and driving license required.

I visited the place for car rental. Great staff and service explanation.. Offer me at reasonable price the delivery and pick up of the car which is my what I need. Smooth and quick process. The location is inside the building and you need to park outside and then walk inside the building.

Surprisingly good. The car was older and had 104km but it was a good price and allowed us to go over to Singapore. We would rent from them again in a pinch.

Address given is not clear, very vaguely state location near a hotel. Should have given exact address as in the actual building name and unit number for ease. And to make matters worse, contact number given was an old number. I had to make few rounds around the area and also thoughts of scam came to mind when I was unable to call them. Despite all, I am satisfied with the condition of the car given. I requested for a GPS but upon collection was informed that their GPS is an old model and is not reliable, kind of trying to dissuade from providing the GPS.

Difficult to find. Friendly people, but didn't take a lot of time to elaborate and explain the car.

And ripped us of by pushing us to buy a card for 30 that we really needed for highways. Was just a touchngo card (official price 10)

Great staff , TERRIBLE location, so-so vehicle. Please find another venue for pick up and drop off: the current one is so messy and brings stress to clients. (Nowhere convient to drop off car, have to carry luggage through several flights of stairs...) The car was 108k, reliable Toyota VIos but too old : worn out driver seat backrest gave me constant back ache. Wouldn’t mind paying more for a newer car !

Poor location,very difficult to find

I made a reservation through Auto Europe for a car rental from March 30th to April 1st, PFA attached voucher. Upon arrival, I was informed by Raymond that my booking had been canceled, allegedly by Auto Europe. He then urged me to make a direct booking with your company, which came at a significantly higher price compared to my original reservation made through Auto Europe, costing me 407 MYR for 2 days as opposed to the initial 230 MYR.

I promptly reached out to Auto Europe to inquire about the cancellation. Trusting that I was provided with accurate information, I decided to proceed with the direct booking despite the increased cost.

During the course of my rental, I extended the duration by 5 hours and returned the car around 4:30 pm on April 1st, for which I was informed I would be charged an additional 203 MYR. However, to my astonishment, I received an email from Auto Europe stating that my original booking had never been canceled and was still active. This revelation was incredibly disappointing and left me feeling misled and betrayed.

As a result of this experience, I have lost trust in company's integrity and question the transparency of your business practices. It appears evident that my original booking was canceled to encourage me to book directly with HAWK company at a higher price, which is both unethical and unacceptable.

Ordered a car and when I reached, they told me my car was not available as it was already given to someone else. Huh?? At this point, they scrambled to find another car for me and after hours, I was given a old shoddy car that eventually broke down after I parked it. Had to call Hawk and they only sent a mechanic the next day. I had to call for a Grab back to my apartment lol..

In conclusion, even though the price may seem like a great deal, I would suggest people to avoid this place like the Black Plague.

I'm not someone who leaves bad reviews but I really have to do so for this.

Everything was smooth initially - from booking to collection. When returning, after parking the car in the car park, we proceeded to the office to return the key. Everything was still okay till they took extremely long to check the car. They drove the car out of the car park to the lobby to inspect. And after a long wait, they told us that there were 2 new long scratches (one on each side) on the car. We were shocked of course. Before we returned the car, we went to the petrol station to top up the petrol. It was only a 2 mins drive away and at that point of time, there is no scratches on the car at all. When we parked the car in the car park before going up to the office to return the key, there is no scratches at all too! They mentioned quickly that it might be motorcyclists who scratched the car when riding past us. Now this is weird. If there is scratches, how can I not know when I'm sitting at the back of the car all the time? During our rental, traffic is very smooth and there isnt any bikers coming so near to us that might cause those scratches at all. It might be our oversight if a biker accidently scratched the car. But to have two of such incidents without us realizing? That's almost impossible.

Hawk's staff initially quoted that it will cost approx rm300 to respray the car. After much negotiation, they quoted rm100 for polishing at the petrol station. Luckily we understands simple Malay and overheard their phone conversation, that the other party actually quoted rm50 only. So, their action of marking up the cost has confirmed our suspicion. They just want to get money from us to fill their own pockets. Though we have no solid proof (our fault for not taking video or pics of the car after parking it at the car park), we highly suspect that they actually scratched the car themselves before driving it up to 'examine' it.

From rm300 to rm100 to rm50 (yes we paid $50) in the end. We have requested for a copy of the polishing receipt. Let's see if they will send it over.

Those who rent from them, I would advise to not park at the car park when returning. Park at the lobby and follow them out when they examine the car upon returning. Best if you can leave someone with the car. Just don't leave the car alone with them till they clear it. Also, if you have to leave the car in their carpark, take clear pictures and videos of the car to protect yourself.

Update as at 22nd Aug : Nope we didn't receive the receipt for the 'polishing'. 🤷🏻‍♀

Really bad. There’s no one in the office at working hours. The door is wide open but no one is working. I airing here since 2pm

very bad, I order car 3days before, since the end didn't gv me any confirmation and I already paid deposit.... never reply email, contact number false....
