Bev C'afe

Passed by this cafe a few times but always walked right past it, as I thought the clothes were expensive so I didn't bother about the cafe. Decided to pop by on a rainy day after vintage shopping, interesting drinks with nice options for a light lunch.

Ordered the 'under the sea', espresso matcha and a charcoal latte plus the leicha cake. Sambal on the croissant had a nice taste to it without overpowering the overall dish.

You know they used decent matcha if the espresso matcha is not sweetened. Charcoal latte was great for me too, interesting texture from the charcoal without making the latte overly bitter.

I thought the leicha cake kept the taste profile of leicha without being gimmicky, nice nutty texture with a hint of mint and basil. Good choice for those not adverse to leicha rice.

Overall, it was a great experience here!

A hidden gem located on the 2nd floor of a clothing store. Loved the vibe of the retro style cafe. Interesting menu. We had tea break with their chocolate pastry and croissant. Really nice place to chill and enjoy a cool drink.

The squid ink aglio olio is perfectly cook.
The tempeh salad is very fresh with nice dressing.
The BevCcano is a special drink and a must try item for coffee lovers, it has a unique taste.
Even the cappuccino has more intense flavor which is better than those chain coffeehouses.
The Earl grey dark chocolate and homemade strawberry cheese cake is nice and not over sweet

the staffs are polite and friendly .
it’s a perfect place to chill and hang out here.

There is also a boutique here where u can look out some of the designer outfits.

The smoke salmon squid ink pasta is good.
The laksa sauce is very special. And it could be very spicy at the end.
Price wise is reasonable.
Citrus coffee is good. Above expectations.

Small cafe above a clothing store. Seats were limited but the dishes were surprisingly good. Tried the cascara iced tea with leicha cake and they were amazing. There was no descriptions of what was inside the leicha cake but it was not too sweet and also had a bit of nuts in it. Highly recommend!

recommended cafe to come for coffee because price are low and good taste, love their cafe vibe and wall artwork, it’s add more uniqueness compared to minimalist cafe with no personality. staff are friendly and service fairly fast. we tried biscoff croissants (5/5 ⭐) and hot espresso matcha! (4.5/5 ⭐) , hopefully we can try more drinks in future.

The cafe is located on the second floor. I loved the Signature Espresso Ice Cube Lavender + Milk (RM17). While it didn’t look purple, the lavender infused milk was very pleasing to the senses. Another drink that is worth trying is the Iced Chocolate (RM13). We wished there were more cakes available.

This boutique cafe, literally, carries a full artistic craftsman flavour to it. The shop entrance is a local designer boutique with very lovely pieces of clothing. Plus a resident car that charms the customers who come in.
The stairs lead to the cafe in the upper level. Here again it’s the draftsman of coffee and beverages. Can’t talk their food and dessert since I didn’t try them.
The expression ice cubes with milk is great for those who love stronger coffee and less milk. It will be good for those who love latte.
Their hot chocolate is thick and has a good chocolate flavour.

Nice boutique cafe. You will find yourself immersed in an artistic vibe as you sip your coffee away.

On level 1, you can expect designer clothing. If you are lucky, you might also encounter the cute cat that is roaming around.

Going up the stairs leads you to the cafe. They serve very decent coffee. I enjoyed the flat white and milk with espresso ice cubes. Pastry wise, good enough selection at affordable price.

It’s a hipster boutique cafe, it’s located upstairs of a designer clothing shop so feels unique and exotic. The old furniture is mixed and matched which is sensuous.

We came here to have an acai bowl, I think I saw they sell it but we couldn't find the menu (probably it’s a seasonal menu..?)

I think they use charcoal croissants or squid ink pasta etc and this black kind of food suit well with the atmosphere of this cafe.

The food was great, the coffee was nice and the ambience was also very cozy. Stayed there for 5 hours to read book and chill, great choice of music as well.

Dropped by Bev C after 6 years… glad to see that the service, food are still of excellent quality! Quite a shame that the laksa pasta was not available when I visited but the squid ink pasta was scrumptious still!

Small unique cafe above a small clothing boutique. Staff is very friendly & cheerful. Love this place. Coffee selection was recommend by the staff. Earl grey dark chocolate dome cake is only available on weekend. Great place to chill out.

Aesthetically pleasing cafe with an amazing range of vintage and quality clothing on the first floor! The drinks and food on the second floor was presented well and did not lack in taste either! Good cafe to visit!

I always wanted to try the hipster cafes in Johor Bahru. I'm very happy that BevC always came up in my Google searches as among the suggested ones to visit. I loved it so much that we went twice during our trip to JB last week. It could have been three times but the first time, I thought they were only selling coffee for take away. As many said in the reviews, the first floor is a botique and the coffee shop is located at the second floor. First, the ambiance and interior are amazing. I love the rustic and cool vibe to it. Very instagrammable indeed. Second, the staff are great-- helpful, nice, and very friendly. Then third, their coffee. In both my visits I tried their Signature Espresso Ice Cubes. Honestly, I was not expecting much the first time I tried it, I was after it being cute. And based on experience most of those coffee cubes tend to lose its coffee flavors. But not with BevC's. They're able to keep the bold coffee flavor that mixed well with milk. On my second visit, I tried their Coffee Cheese Dome Cake, and it was good. It's unique and cute. And, it has the right amount of sweetness and it blended well with the cheese flavor. BevC will definitely be among my first stops the next time I visit JB again, a super recommended place!

The cafe is on the 2nd floor while the first one sells local brand clothes. The coffees were good. I tried their cascara coffee. It was quite nice and sweet even though no sugar was added. Nice ambience because it was quiet and calming. Overall a great place to chill

The ambiance is very cosy and relaxing, the staffs is very friendly and helpful, its a great place to eat, chill, read and sketching and instagram hahahahah. Definitely gonna come back here again to drink, draw and chillout. I love the espresso ice cube and milk to pour over it! Thats the best!
