Grand Hallmark Hotel - Johor Bahru

I checked-in the hotel on 3rd March and checked-out 5th March (3 days 2 Nights) to attend Taylor Swift Eras Tour Singapore 2024. The place was decent, good value for stay because it is very affordable and easy cancellations over the phone (we booked 2 rooms but had to cancel 1 room because of last minute cancellation of our friends cannot join our trip). The room is well-fitted, perhaps quite cramped for plus-sized people but for 2 pax we stayed there with no problem. The air-conditioning is very cold, we might have to turn off once in a while.

But I would like to highlight the exemplary service they provided me in which I left my laptop & the bag after I checked out and they informed me through call. I rushed back to the hotel and they told me an aunty (Chinese housekeeping lady) helped to get the bag safely handed to the counter for me to collect. In the world I thought I have lost my laptop, came their honest gesture. Thank you very much! They also helped to attend to the guest cars if there are any authority officer who would check on the car to impose summon tickets. Just provide your car plate number and they'll assist accordingly.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we'll be returning to this place the next time we're in JB or going to Singapore. Highly recommended.

Grand Hallmark is located at Taman Molek, Johor Bharu and approximately 20 mins drive away from the state capital. The three storey hotel is accommodating - ample parking spaces, an elevator and vending machines, and easy check in.

Our room was a large bedroom for two people. The room itself was clean and tidy, and is equipped with everything you need - closet with iron board and iron, safety box, small fridge, kettle, thermos, TV with many channels and inside the attached bathroom, we got bottles of shampoo and shower cream. WiFi was super strong, so convenient for me who came there for a business trip.

Our room came with breakfast and we stayed there for 6 days. The breakfast was pretty decent but still delicious and had several varieties.

Although this hotel was booked last minute, we were totally satisfied and had a pleasant stay. Will come back again to this hotel one day when we are in JB.

The room is very clean, even though the space is a little bit small. It's quite cheap with breakfast included.

The location is quite strategic near most of shops, but during night time, all shops close quite early.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Grand Hallmark Hotel during my business trip to the bustling city. The staff at the hotel were professional and also helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that my every need was met, from providing local recommendations to promptly addressing any concerns I had. They helped and guide me how to do self check-in, step by step with clear instructions truly added an extra layer of comfort to my stay.

One of the standout features of the Horizon Hotel is its strategic location. It offers easy access to multiple business sites, making it the perfect choice for business travelers like myself. I found it incredibly convenient to navigate to my meetings and conferences, saving valuable time in the process.

Furthermore, I must mention that the Hotel also offers breakfast services. While it may not reach the extravagant standards of a five-star establishment, the breakfast provided was nonetheless tasty and more than sufficient to warm my stomach in the morning. It was a pleasant way to start the day and provided me with enough energy for my busy schedule. I reached the restaurant about 7am and their staffs ensured that the breakfast area was always clean and well-stocked, creating a pleasant dining experience. While it may not have been a gourmet feast, the breakfast at the Grand Hallmark Hotel certainly exceeded my expectations and served its purpose well. Whether you're a business traveler on the go or a leisure guest looking for a satisfying start to your day, the hotel's breakfast offering is a definite plus.

In conclusion, the Hotel surpassed my expectations in every way. Its cleanliness, helpful staff, strategic location, easy access to business sites, abundance of food options, tranquility, and convenient positioning made it one of good choice for my business trip.

They staff have a great personality and hospitaly. Comfy bed and clean room. But the hotel smell like old typical hotel in Malaysia. Overall everything was good.

Small room but full of facilitative in small price

If you want a good budget hotel at taman molek. This is the one. Overall safe experience with them. We booked the dates wrongly and they inform us and we ask for a solution to extend one more day. Luckily they have a room and managed to slot us one more day.

The hotel was recently renovated in 2018. It was totally different from last time, Amazing to see the renovated condition, was really good. Room was clean, mattress and pillow quality was good. Size of room was good. WIFI connection also good. Breakfast was surprising good also. Entire hotel no smoking rooms. Will strongly recommend to come back.

Room was just great and very cosy.
Everything I find there was almost perfect and the room rates are quite reasonable when compared with many around JB.
Been there twice and will stay there very often on my upcoming business trips.
Parking is not a problem as their staff there would register and look after the car in public parking lot around the area.

The counter staff who was working on 3rd April evening were helpful and friendly. Thankful for them for their help. The room was also very nice

My friend chose the hotel. The price was lower than other hotels but quite far from JB Sentral.

Across the board, it is still a good hotel with an affordable price!

Totally love our stay of the features in the room & shower! Where they had,Not one ,Not two..but 3 types of shower concepts to choose from! How awesome is that!
Very comfortable bed with air-conditioning..and also, they are thoughtful enough to place Water dispenser on each floor(outside the lift area) and vending machines on the lobby area!
And oh,not forgetting their superb breakfast that me and wifey enjoyed which was really good. Will definitely recommend/come back next time!

Hope they can consider to locate more & another location in the city area and close by shopping malls in Johor!

The room are clean & comfortable with amenities (including a mini-fridge & good stock of bottled water). Good value for money since it's budget hotel. Comfy bed.

Room are good but I prefer room with windows because the space of room bigger. Room with out window is small but clean and nice. Staff are friendly

Near to bank, petrol station and restaurant.

This hotel provide almost everything, from toiletries, to weight scale, just in case you wanna check your body weight after having good dinner near Tebrau City.

0.5 more mark, if the water in toilet, don't have the pressure pump sensation and continue its great flow.
