Pulai Springs Resort, Johor Bahru (Resort Hotel)

The road entrance isn’t that great, however their staff provided top notch service. I brought along quite a numbers of foreign workers during last CNY holidays and staff provided great assistance. You guys should try their buffet selection, the food is definitely good 👍🏻👍🏻

You have all the basic necessary needs in the pulai resort. Service staff are friendly and courteous. The room rates are reasonable and tumbs up to the pool facilities area. The whole resort is clean with greenery. Good place to stay with families and couples. Great place to hold an event like birthdays, weddings, or companies' events.

Nice resort which is near to UTM Skudai and Taman Universiti. First impression when we arrived was I a bit shocked with the access condition from the guard house until the hotel lobby. (1st time staying at this resort).

After check-in, then only know that resort has sold the surrounding area to developer and housing development was in progress. There is no more golf course and green view. Now view is only housing and empty land.

Facilities is quite ok for me i.e. 5 nos of swimming pools (4 nos at clubhouse and 1 no at suite area), jacuzzi, spa, snooker (pay), pool (pay), bicycle (pay), indoor playground (pay), gym and restaurant.

Rooms is using apartment concept and spacious to me and family. We are very comfortable with our stay. Only need to add few TV channels for kids i.e. cartoon and brigher light for work desk area.

Aeon Taman U is just nearby if you need to buy somethign and also few coffee shop also available i.e. Bask Bear, Zus Coffee and etc.

My first time to this hotel, had my breakfast here and their services was super super good. One of the staff name by MR Kumar was very friendly and very helpful to me. Very polite to me, I m very happy to stay in this hotel.Tq.❤❤❤

Despite the location is a bit creepy at first and a bit far from city center, the studio room was very spacious and clean. The food has many varieties and good too. Will definitely come again here.

Beutiful place. As mentioned in earlier reviews, the road going to the springs is a bit rugged due to the construction works that is ongoing. Overall beautiful experience that we had! Nice food. Very friendly staff! Clean suites and no issues with water heating, wi-fi. Fuss free check-out as well. Highly recommended if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Nearby JPO as well if you want to do some shopping. Looking forward to our next visit!

Located in a semi secluded area where greenery and zen combines to ensure a peaceful rest. The environment and the architecture combined gracefully signaling the time of peace has finally commenced. For travelers like me who values quietness and the beauty of the environment, this place stands out in its natural beauty, amongst the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives.
Upon entering the room, I was faced by a room so spacious with pictures of trishaws, reminiscent of traditions of old mixed in with the architectural elegance of wood and its exquisite carvings, externally. After Netflix and snuggle in its covers on a soft but thick pillow, a nice firm bed, I was pleasantly surprised with the buffet spread that caters to my rather jaded tastebuds. From local food to Italian spaghetti whose sauce is made in a huge wheel of cheese. From good coffee to green apples smothered in peanut butter, from serunding chicken with porridge to a baguette I filled with fresh salad leaves and tuna was an enjoyable experience indeed.
As I walked outside amongst the fresh breeze and greenery, I chanced upon a construction of a building, it was to be made into an Ambulatory Care Centre, a precursor to a hospital that would be built next to it. It was planned to open later this year, I thought to myself that its owners have a good thing coming. An all encompassing resort with such an important feature that I have not yet seen. It seems that swimming pools and spa facilities that this place offers would soon not be the only the main feature that this resort has to offer.
All in all, its been an enjoyable and eye opening visit, don't you think?

Stayed in a 2-bedroom Cinta Ayu suite, which was really a 2-bedroom (with bedding for 4 persons) fully furnished apartment, with a living room, dining area, kitchenette (but utensils not provided), and 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom had a mini room for built-in wardrobes cum study. The suite/apartment was huge - easily 1,000 square feet! After a 20% discount for booking directly through their website, it was under RM380 nett per night with buffet breakfast included!

I was attending the annual department dinner together with my colleagues (around 23 persons).

We went to the Fire grill BBQ buffet dinner restaurant. It offers a variety of pasta, grilled seafood, lamb and beef etc

You may book for reservations and requests since it offers a variety of restaurants. Depending on what you want e.g.Chinese cuisine you may look at another restaurant.

I booked a one night stay in 2 bedroom suite for 3adults and 2kids. Room was very spacious and basic. Although the resort is already dated, it's very clean and well maintained. We spent some time at the pool and the indoor kids playground (rm12/kid) and had a really good meal at qing palace chinese restaurant. The resort is about 15-20mins drive to Sutera mall which we went for quick shopping and dinner and we had a very pleasant stay there. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we could check in early for the kids to nap as there were rooms available too. The only thing that's not fantastic was the breakfast buffet, very limited choices but i wasn't expecting much anyway.

Value for money, cozy and peaceful resort in the heart of Johor, but away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Staff were friendly, facilities were ok. There are sufficient eateries and activities to do for the family within the resort itself. If not, it is within 30-45mins drive to nearby malls. Loved the swimming pools and the indoor kids playground! Also, I think I was upgraded from a 2 room suite to a 3 room suite (thank you for that! :)). Will come again in the future insyaAllah.

Two main downsides were: Food-wise - Room service for food was not available 24 hours, or at least till 12am. 2 of the eateries close at 5pm on weekdays. Surrounding areas had construction going on (either a new project or extension of the resort? So, the rustic ambience was reduced as opposed to maybe 1 or 2 years ago.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding night at Pulai Springs Resort. It was wonderful. Our guests and ourselves enjoyed a memorable night.

The food and service is excellent. Had an enjoyable night.

Nice place, finger foods available on Friday ,Saturday,Sunday only. Otherdays bring your own food.

Food is nice, sound system is awesome, service is great too.

Great value and would definitely recommend and repeat again!

Pros:
Great value - We booked the deluxe suite with extra bed and breakfast for 3 adults for the price of RM233.20 through the hotel's official website. Comfortable for us, 3 adults, 1 toddler and 1 infant.
Breakfast - Taste and variety is very ok for the price. Seating is also sufficient.
Parking - Free and near the hotel
Swimming pool - There are 5 pools but only went to the pools at the sport center. There's a slide there which my son enjoyed very much.

Cons:
Location - You have to have a car to stay here as it is a bit far from everything else.
Food - Because the location is a bit far, you can eat at the hotel's restaurant (last order at 1630pm), order food delivery (need to pick up at basement as that's the only area allowed for riders) or drive on your own
Safety at pool - There should be a lifeguard at the pools to assist in case of anything. In my case, I was alone with my 4yo son. I brought him to the top of the slide, as I worry he might fall on the rock stairs otw there and the rocks were quite slippery. So I didn't watch him when he went finished the slide. The pool at the slide exit was deeper than the other areas. Thankfully my 4yo son did not drown (he can't swim and there was no one else watching).

Our society has a CNY function at here, their staff has good response and deal with me.

Booked with Agoda & stayed in Studio Suite room with free breakfast. Near to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and shop lot around 5 minutes driving. Room luxurious, bed & pillows so comfy, spacious bathroom, delicious breakfast. Free access to the parking spaces, gym, swimming pool. The staff was amazing. Really value for money and highly recommended for this hotel resort.

Room is very spacious, breakfast have variety of food. Ha e 5 number of pools. Very convenient for solo traveller or family 👍
