Food are good, we get a buffet breakfast. The place is clean, our room was clean and with above average amenities. Staff was very helpful. We forgot our keys in room and they lend as another one. I like also the 2 meter deep pool though diving is not allowed.

Stayed there few times. This time the first room toilet light was fused and immediately changed us to another room. The 2nd room aircon was very warm and 1st night couldn't sleep well. Reported the next day and was taken care of. I think hotels should have a checklist for the housekeeping and maintenance to check the room before it is let for occupancy. To avoid inconvenience to the guest. The receptionist and staff were very friendly and accommodative. Nice place to stay.

I've been to the hotel many times for their buffet. The food spread is pretty good. From local to western dishes. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If there is something you tried before but isn't there at the moment. They have helped me make it, so that I would enjoy it. I didn't expect it until I received it by one of their lovely staff.

Stayed one night. Great staff serving me over the counter. Had a free upgrade to suite as I checked in extremely late that night. Room was clean neat and tidy. The hot water for shower can be improved as the water was not hot enough to my preference. I will recommend for people who are staying for a short trip, going for a shopping trip over the weekend. Value for money as compared to KSL hotel.

Friendly staff. Had a last-minute meeting and staff was able to provide great meeting package with consideration for my Muslim staff who is fasting. They went the extra mile in ensuring all our requirements are met and food was fantastic, even the tea breaks. Keep it up!!

The hotel looks very old from the outside but it's a whole new different feel when you're inside. 5 star staffs and service rendered the moment you step foot at the hotel. Clean and spacious room with all the required amenities. Very centralised and close by to lots of eatery places and shopping malls. Highly recommended!!!

We stayed here for 3 night.. room is spacious, comfortable and clean enough... all staff are very friendly..on our 1st day we noticed that the phone got problem... And call for maintenance.. and it only take around 10 minutes for them to come and fix the things up. I felt really comfortable and satisfied with everything..my baby also comfortable being here. Thanks to all of the staff.

Big and spacious room. A bit outdated and need some cosmetic touch up. However we are so happy with the staffs on their attentive and friendly services especially the front team. Kuddos for the management for having such a great people taking care people like us.

Room was clean and comfortable. Value for money during the COVID 19 season. Room service was great but the in-room dining was kind of expensive. Location of the hotel was okay but many stores nearby had shut down. Offered a complimentary ride to ICQ.

Hotel is old, but well refurbished. Location is 9 minutes walk to KSL City. Got it for a good rate through Agoda (~$150RM) per night; cheapest among the area.

Room is extremely spacious and clean. Service was good and staffs always have a smile on their face.

Had a pleasant stay and would definitely return. Would also like to thank the front counter staff, Irene, whom did our check in and check out. Her service was fast and efficient.

One of the best hotel I ever stayed. Although the hotel is older then others, the rooms are quite spacious. The bed is quite springy and the pillows and bed seem to be scented. There is bathtub in the bathroom. Although it is a bit small, I am 5"8' or 173cm, it is still great and comfortable.

The staff is SUPER friendly and serving. As they always greet you and very helpful in all your inquiries. Even though it is a bit of walking distance from KSL mall, it is very worth compare to staying in KSL hotel. (cheaper too)

I Definitely come back to stay in this hotel next time. And I definitely recommend this to anyone going to Johor Bahru.

An excellent establishment, this hotel has a long tradition for gentility, helpful friendly and courteous services, great dining and convenient location. Beware the many imitators few clicks from the causeway getaway, Hotel Mutiara is the real deal and value for money.

Family friendly, we booked two adjoining rooms here and absolutely could relax in comfort knowing everything would work as expected, look like it should and have all the answers a finger's tip away if we ever needed.

The location was alright, not too far from KSL city centre. The room was very spacious and at a clean state. The beds were very comfortable! The bathroom was not small at all. Overall a good stay.

i do a last min booking just through phone operator was good in assisting price was reasonable hotel looks run down for the outside yet it was to my surprise it was very pleasant inside staff was super friendly and helpful and room was very clean . breakfast was very good they have live stations such as ala-min roti canai stations that was super good. i ordered in-room service and it was delivered within 15mins and the food was good too. asked for a late check out and i was given till 1pm super good service thumbs up!! kudos to the hotel team GOOD JOB!!!!

Good location and friendly staff.
Housekeeping/cleaning staff have stolen expensive scarf belonging to my DIL. Reported to duty manager but no assurance whatsoever - quite disappointing. Never happened in other hotels we have been staying.

Very decent hotel with great hospitality. Good spread of breakfast menu eventhough lack of 1/2 menu such as roasted chicken, roast lamb as per before, still its worth every penny. Clean room and fresh room.

Huge rooms, comfortable and nice, with a bathtub, my gal loves it.. Breakfast included, went to the lobby for breakfast, my gal's having a cough, the restaurant manager immediately asked the staff to bring a glass of warm water.. Very observant and good service.. Overall, i am satisfied with the service.. Although i would suggest fresh painting for the entire building.. 😁

Exterior building looks old but interior looks good. Check in was fast and efficient and friendly lobby staff. Room is big and have the basic stuff that I need, with warm water and hair dryer. Room service is good and quick when I asked for a bucket of ice. Location was good, about 3mins walk to holiday plaza and 8 mins walk to KSL. Directly outside the hotel is a Thai massage place. It's good and reasonable price!

We have been going there for years. Love the family suite. Also kudos to manager of the coffee house :) as always so sweet and fantastic service. And also to director of rooms Sam.. Always remembers his guests

Extremely good experience with this hotel, clean and safe, organized and efficient, most importantly the staff were all friendly and smiling, from security at door to receptionists and restaurant staff. I surely will consider come back. Thank you!
