Best budget hotel by far. Staff is very helpful thus check in and out was smooth. Location is great. Walking distance to city Square and ciq immigration. Food court and eateries nearby.

Car park and lift condition could be better but I appreciate the efforts of putting up lights along the road heading to the car park. And all the lights were lit up throughout my one week stay there.

Room is spacious and air cond is cold enough too. The actual room looks exactly as advertised.

Don't understand why other guests found it scary and filthy. If you're looking for a budget but clean and strategic hotel in JB, I can't think of anywhere else but here.

Its a nearly perfect budget stay. I like it all about this hotel. Clean and cozy room. I like the breakfast so much. The nasi goreng was so delicious. All the staff was also full of smile. Maybe 2 things they need to upgrade:- 1) room service (sent food to room) 2) the external parking lot looks scary. Other that that its all perfect. Definitely recommended and will come again

eRYAbySURIA, formerly known as Merlin Inn Johor Bahru, was one of the top hotel of its game when it first opened in the 80s after Merlin Tower Hotel Johor Bahru. The management have retained a lot of the old & classic looks to the hotel. Affordable price, clean hotel, very friendly & helpful staff, comfortable room & excellent view of JB town from my room. Best hotel in JB! Highly recommended.

Aircond is an old model but is super cold.
Room 504 need plumbing worked, shower drain is clogged

Food was delicious, although not known...but i think its about time others know about this hotel....every cent worth, the people are efficient and every time a dish seems to start disappearing...they will immediately start to fill up the dishes....

An effortable stay with good service and clean environment. Breakfast are okay and with well prepared.
There are 24 hour restaurant and mini market nearby.

The place is right in the middle of the town of johor .. It's great to shop and find food because of many shopping centers .. Just by walking, you can go the shopping mall.. It's great to travel from jb Town to a place of interest.. Hotel price is also reasonable and its clean and convenient.. Had a nice breakfast..

big room for family ..can enter 10 person..if you bring airmattress..but old design..upgrade you tv..
