Pleasant experience, had a training event. Mr. Shah, the sales manager made the whole experience a wonderful one. He was really helpful and gave a very good deal. The venue was very conducive and the service given was exceptional. Very helpful and friendly staff. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone for stay as well as for any events. Good job guys. Thank you for making my event and my stay a memorable one.

If I'm planning to stay overnight and have a good rest by myself this will be my choice since it's affordable and offer the best breakfast. The room also quite spacious and cosy.

Easy check in from agoda booking. The rooms spacious space and clean. Look decent for 3 star hotel since they already renovated awhile ago. We had our free breakfast for sahur time and the options are enough. Multiple drink and food choices prepared.

Review of Stay in Premium Suite Hotel Sentral Johore Bahru 15-17 June 2022

Reception was friendly. We arrived at 2pm and checked-in at about 2.30pm. Lobby was clean and neat. Decor was minimal. There is also a small minimart selling drinks, ice-cream and snacks.

The Premium Suite was very big. It consists of a living room with sofas and table, LCD TV on a console, a small sink with mini fridge, a small kettle with packets of instant coffee and tea.

The suite also have 2 big bedrooms. One with a Queen bed and the other has 2 single beds. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom with separate bathtub and shower, writing table with chair and a single-seat sofa. Air-con worked well for both rooms and living room.

Two towels for each bedroom. Toothbrushes were not provided but each bathroom had a bottle of bodywash. For a 3-star hotel, that's good enough for me. More importantly, the floor was clean, towels, beds, pillows and blankets were clean and smelled nice. Rooms didn't have any unpleasant odour like smoke or leftover food.

I tested the Wifi speed and it's about 1MB/s. Ok for checking emails, Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram. Not ok if you want to stream movies unless you're willing to watch them in low resolution.

There are 2 swimming pools. A shallow kiddy pool and a slightly deeper one for adults. The water circulator for the kiddy pools works well but the one in the adult pool was either not working or not turned on.

But the water from the kiddy pool which is located on a higher ground overflows into the adult pool. And the water in the adult pool overflows into the pool drainage. So the water in the adult pool does get circulated but it will take a longer time.

After reading some reviews that said the housekeeping was bad, I did not wait for them to change my towels. I just went to housekeeping on the 3rd floor and exchanged them for new ones. It took me a total of about 3 minutes to go down, change towels and go up. No problem. No frustration.

The nearest 24-hr laundromat is about 300 metres away in R&F Mall. Groundfloor, Lot G152.

Breakfast buffet spread was not lavish. We can't expect a 3-star hotel to provide a 5-star breakfast.

First day, there was fried rice and fried kuay tiao. Hard boiled egg, baked beans, white porridge, banana cake, toast with butter, kaya & jam, cereal, cut fruits, salad with thousand island dressing, hot tea, hot coffee, fruit punch, mango juice.

Second day there's nasi lemak, mee goreng, mee soto and the rest is the same as first day. From 6pm to 11pm, there are foodtrucks next to the hotel selling Halal food.

I don't know about the conditions of the other room types but for the Premium Suite that my family stayed in, we are very happy with it and overall we are happy with our stay in the hotel.

I would recommend those with kids to book a Premium Suite instead of squeezing into any one of the smaller rooms. You would enjoy your stay more. My family and I sure did.

Big, spacious and clean rooms. Aircon is cold and room is well-lit. Basic amenities but at a very reasonable price jn a central area. Water dispenser located outside the room for hot and cold water.

Nice little niche hotel tucked away from JB's bustling streets. A humongous food marketplace just a stone throw away. Has got a good-sized swimming pool for all hotel patrons to swim in. Value for money.!! Recommended.!! 👍

Hotel room was extremely huge, water was very warm. Swimming pool was quite nice, even has a somewhat rooftop patio on top. Lift was extremely slow, however, and the lobby feels like there is no aircon. Towels were old, bedsheet had very small stain, window sofa had a huge stain. However it doesn't matter much if you don't bother about it. Hairdryer didn't work in my room and the aircon controller was almost spoilt. Bed was extremely comfortable and there was a water dispenser at the corridor. Corridors looked very old but the rooms looked more refurbished. Location was okay, about 1km from city square using the link bridge to RnF. Wasnt exactly opposite RnF, had to jaywalk across the main road, which brought you to the edge of the mall at Jaya Grocer. Lobby was inconvenient as it was quite a flight of stairs from the road. Overall was an very pleasant stay despite the mishaps as I didn't mind them at all. Will definitely come back soon!

The hotel look great & fancy with affordable price.

The receptionists are helpful & friendly, hotel room are big for 2 guest single or queen bed, 24 sqm.

Only the pool under construction and parking are limit during peek hour.

Overall are wonderful and near bazar karat & JBCC, 3KM walking.

Clean rooms, all staff at this lovely place. Good location, suitable for my business. Importantly, the WiFi internet here is fast, really fast. Answer: The customer can't keep up with the internet very quickly. Again, the internet at this hotel is very fast.

Big rooms.. great service... Near R&F mall.. food truck on wkend evening, there's a prawning pond too juz 10mins walk from the hotel.

I like it. When ever I drive up to JB my hotel to stay is hotel sentral JB. The foods is good and the services also good. The most inportat the price us very resonable hper night to stay in this hotel.. keep it up

Centrally located but the rooms are very small. Not to expect much from the place. Than you will be happy.

Easy access to shopping mall and ICQ. Room service and staff were excellent and friendly. Will definitely go again.

Walking distance of 10 to 15 min to CS Mall n walking along a long bridge straight to CIQ N CS Mall.
