The lagenda trail to the summit is a challenge. Over 30 ladders to climb, and 2 rock scaling to reach the peak. Minimum of 4pax to register for a guide, at rm132 per pax. The staff at the office are very friendly and the guides are very helpful. There is a cut-off time to reach the base by 7pm. Otherwise, you'll need to pay rm50 for every hour that's late. There's a toilet at base for convenience, but it's not the most well kept.

Very chill hike with great views. Enjoyed climbing the ladders and pulling myself up the rope segment. Guides were knowledgeable. Food provided was way beyond my expectations!

I thought it was still closed, luckily it was open. Beautiful scenery! There are two bathing places, one is called Kolam Mahligai, then go up a little and there is a beautiful and peaceful waterfall is called Air Terjun Sungai Air Putih. Relaxing with the family is satisfying and relieves stress.

A lovely nature near Tangkak. Have been planning to go for roughly almost three years. Worth going. Love the waterfall. Enjoyed nature while family busy preparing food.

Came here since today is public holiday in Selangor (Sultan's birthday)

If you are hiker, must hike here, the highest mountain in Johor Bahru. The challenge is must finish on time as every hiker is able to reach the summit considering it is not extremely difficult except the rope climbing for 40metres up the big rock.

Nevertheless it is a good feeling at the summit. Go for it.

Johor's highest mountain. A good training ground for people who are adventure lovers. With multiple obstacles on the trail, the summit offers a breathe taking views. We did a 2d1n camping for the sunrise. It was just amazing experience. Very friendly guides.

Breathtaking scenery of mt. Ledang. There is a long 3.5km stretch of road from the entrance to the base office which is perfect for jogging and briskwalking. This place is best to come from 6am in the morning to catch the sunrise or 5pm onwards for the beautiful sunset.

Very challenging.... But it was fun. You have to get a guide from their forestry department/office. Fee will be given once you get your guide. There's a different in each fee. But you should try their hiking to the summit through KFC (Killer or Killing I don't remember, fitness center) and their batu hampar. Challenge yourself and your stamina as well endurance. The view of the summit is 360° but the most beautiful as for me is the mountain itself right from the moment you enter the gateway of Gunung Ledang. Both morning and evening gave you a different color yet so enchanted. And also the view after you finished your batu hampar rope challenge. Well that's all i can say. Oh by the way, you have to finish your hiking before 7 or on 7pm, if you finish it after there's a penalty waiting. Good luck! 😉

National Park Gunung Ledang now becoming a popular recreational place. Ramai orang berbasikal, jogging, jalan2 waktu pagi. Very refreshing and jalan dia straight until the end of route will be the national park. I don’t know the entry fees bcoz Im just went there to jog and enjoy the nature.

Definste;y enjoyed the trip. It's very far from Muar, situated in the outskirt of Tangkak. The hiking is all right but the waterfall is awesome.

you can hike the waterfall up to its available peak. Enjoy the breeze. There are canteens at the entrance so gear up before entering.

Plenty of parking although the rate is funny (man + vehicle).

We went via the Sagil Route!

Definitely wiser to have guide(it is a must now!) hiking Gunung Ledang. Had a great professional guide and decent weather.

Uphill was challenging! The rock climbing has 3 main parts, last part is kinda scary. Thankfully the tangga has made climbing really really easy so we should be grateful!

Downhill was quite painful with 2-3hrs of constant knee impact!

Tips:
-pack light
-bring min 2L of water
-MOSQUITO REPELLENT
-fuel snacks
-strong mental and be fit to take up all those up and downhills

- Challenging trail by Sagil.
- Has COT (cut of time). Must arrived at CP 5 (Simpang Pedita) before 10.30am or u not able to climb rock wall.
- Use proper hiking shoe as the trek up to 90 degree.

A beautiful although challenging hike with a literal top-of-the-world view. Terrain is quite hard (lots of lunges). It gets steeper as you get closer to the top. About 25-30 ladders and countless ropes are installed to help hikers over boulders and other obstacles. The forest and trail are very well kept. The dedication of the staff to count and declare every item taken in and out of the reserve to prevent littering is highly commendable. The guides are constantly aware of all hikers, sweeping every last one of us out before dark. Amenities like toilets could use a bit more maintenance. Otherwise it was an entirely enjoyable (yet tiring) 10 hours.

Plan to go for day hike but they are close for public during cmco. Will come back again for hiking. Eventhough you are not like hiking this is a best place for photographs and instra worth, but beware of the cars and motorcycles. Best to come during morning, sometimes the whole mountain are cover by cloud.
