Immersing myself in the absolute majesty of one of the most breathtaking temples I've ever had the privilege to visit was an unforgettable experience. The journey from Ipoh, spanning a mere 1.5 hours, was entirely justified by the awe-inspiring sight that awaited. Amidst the serene surroundings, vibrant stalls beckoned, offering tantalizing local delicacies and refreshing beverages, a welcome respite particularly on scorching days.

Visited this place during deepavali 2023 Lots of parking space. Beautiful. If you are on the way somewhere here, worth coming in Tried the weasel coffee and eggs . Nice. Store just next to the temple. Food court available. Entrance here free. No need to buy ticket.

Right next to the beach, huge statues were built facing the beach. The temple was very big, very spacious, ample parking and very well maintained. Joss sticks are available for offering at every altar with every deity. There is a long "dragon" where you enter through the mouth and exit through the tail, going through murals left and right explaining heaven and hell. A good breeze and sunset view too.

An absolutely beautiful Chinese temple overlooking the Straits of Malacca. When at Sitiawan, please make time to come here as it’s a peaceful and tranquil place. There are also several eateries here serving local food and you should try the Red wine mee sua soup.

Free entrance to the temple. Parking is free too. Being hungry we found the food at the food court was tasty. Luckily they have a variety of food, not limited to vegetarian food only. Toilet conditions were not very satisfactory but better than nothing.

Back to the main focus, the temple is huge with many statues. Many devotees were there to offer joss sticks. They have celebration on the lunar 7th month 29th day. Haven't visited this before, if there's a chance will try to experience it.

The temple is facing sea. Nice to see mangrove area there too. It's good to have things close by to see more things, without having to drive or walk too much. Not far from this temple, we also visited Siloma Grape Vineyard that was just about 11 mins drive away.

It was interesting to see people washing their cars with flower water at the front part of the temple. For good luck! And hoping to strike numbers.

Think we were blessed with good weather and nice clouds formation in the sky.

A very big Tua Pek Kong temple facing the sea. Many stone statues of Taoist deities. Beautiful landscaping and well maintained fish ponds with koi fishes.

Big parking area in front of the temple. There are a few shops beside the temple selling local produce including dried seafood, chilli sauce and dried noodles.

We went during a week day with no other visitors, a very sunny day. Quite a spacious place to walk with many different statues of different sizes. And a temple inside. Good to visit for a walk and for prayer.

Beautiful temple. Definitely worth the detour from Ipoh for a visit here to pray. There are a few shops that sell herbs, snacks and drinks alongside a couple of food stores for some quick bite (Chinese hawker food). Plenty of parking in front of the temple and you could even walk out to the beachfront if the tide is not too high. Note that it's VERY hot during the day. It is advisable to go early in the morning or late evening around sunset instead.

The main taoist temple on the island, it is located inside the Sungai Pinang Besar village, and the road leading up to the temple is narrow. Parking is available in front of the temple. Access to the main temple building is good. The landscape of the temple is well maintained and clean, with more being built when I was visiting.

Do note that some of the scenic view of the surrounding area can be reach by stairways around the temple, although it's little confusing as the path winds around the hill and some of the steps are basic and not even. Precaution for the elderly and those who can't climb well.

On the way back from damai laut. Stopped here purposely to see with my own eyes. So many years I've been aiming for this place and finally I am here. It is truly spectacular. View is absolutely impressive. Architecture top notch. Worth visiting and spending few hours here. Will come evening next time when it is lighted up. I'm pretty sure the evening night view won't be disappointing.

Fish food is at the main temple at RM 2. The rest of the shops are selling drinks and mostly tourist stuff with tourist prices. Avoid the turtle pond. Very smelly. Saw about 50 turtles.

Worth visiting. Eye opener, pleasant view, stunning architecture, amazing construction, spacious and well planned.

I had the most amazing time visiting Tua Pek Kong Temple! The architecture and intricate details of the temple are truly awe-inspiring. The tranquil ambiance and the sense of history make it a perfect place for reflection and appreciation. The temple's connection to cultural and spiritual traditions is beautifully showcased, and the atmosphere is both serene and welcoming. Whether you're a local or a tourist, Tua Pek Kong Temple offers an unforgettable experience that's definitely worth a visit.

Humongous temple with many gigantic granite statues overlooking the sea.The surrounding wall looks like a mini great wall of China. The place is very well maintained. Different races of visitors come here to enjoy the beautiful sea and part swampy scenery. Very windy and good place for birds watching too. On a good day, you will see a perfect sunset which I did a couple of years ago (attached an old pic) but it was cloudy this trip. A lot of visitors collect the Holy water flowing from the huge Goddess of mercy statue to wash face and legs. Some even splashed on the cars, believing it will bring luck to the owners. There is an open food court too by the side of the temple serving some local foods like the famous red wine mee suah and local snacks.
Nice tourist attractions.

Beautiful Temple with Sculpture Works. Temple was well maintained with carpark facilities. Temple facing the sea, and you can have a glimpse of sunset. Temple staff were helpful. The directions to Temple were insufficient. Management can put sign boards from the main road leading to the temple.

Worth to go. Huge statue. Clean and good for praying too. Also a lot of photos spots. Furthermore entrance is free of charge. But encourage to give some donation to have them to sustain the operation.
