The Lake Library Cafe

Nice selection of books for a small library. The tables are slightly too tall for the chairs so it's not a ergonomic for work for long hours. Sadly, it's not open on weekends.

It is a very small library by the lake (only 4 tables inside) . Quite hidden. I would say not really suitable if you are bringing kids. If you are merely seeking for little shift for those who are doing their write up, may be this is the place.

Great place to read some books, use the internet. However, I don't see any signs of plug to charge your electronics, so there's that. The wi-fi is very good.

Small library, secluded area, clean place, okay collections. Would be better if the cafe next to the library open, so you could get some bites after you finish reading then enjoy the lake view.

The smallest public library in the world! They are actually hidden underneath the stadium like building overlooking the lake. Inside there is only one rack of books and that's it. On the flip side all of the books are brand new and the best part is they are borrowable unlike other bigger libraries where such books would be for reference only. Sadly only two books are allowed to be borrowed at any one time. The librarian was very polite, professional and spoke excellent English! Only annoying thing was that this library, being operated by the local council Majlis Sepang, is located next to other departments. Whenever those staff had to go in and out of their office, you get buzzed by the annoying beeping to close the doors!

The library has changed its operating hours to only open during the weekdays.

There is a kids' corner and the place is well air conditioned. Not so many choices to borrow books to be honest.

The cafe is unfortunately closed nowadays.

My verdict, worth a visit if you wish to spend time with family at the lake, a good cool down place. If you would like to introduce library to your kids, this would be a good spot as the place is not crowded at all (same goes to other libraries perhaps..hehe).

The operation hours itself is so discouraging from going and in fact for morning session students can only go during school holiday….

Really small library with hidden entrance. Have to find it walking in front of the lake. Single floor with three to four racks of books.

The library location is very secluded. Very hard to find. It's clean but small and have limited space to study. Hard to find plug to charge laptop. The library also very noisy with the noise from outside. The place also very cold and uncomfortable to stay more than an hour to study.

Saya cuba nak kunjungi Lake Library Cafe.

Sebelah kiri papan tanda tertulis "Jabatan Landskap", sebelah kanan tertulis "Lake Library Cafe". Masa saya nak masuk dilarang. Katanya pintu ni menghala ke Jabatan sahaja.

Pengawal sekuriti lelaki tu kata dengan suara marah sambil senyum sinis, "Hmp, saya duduk sini kamu tak tanya. Hmp! (maksudnya saya tak patut buka pintu tu walaupun papan tanda sebelah kanan menunjukkan Lake Library cafe)" seolah olah saya melakukan perbuatan yang begitu keji sekali dan tidak harus dimaafkan. Sedangkan saya hanya merujuk kepada papan tanda yang mencadangkan pengunjung boleh menuju ke Cafe menerusi pintu tu.

Cadangan saya:
1. Sila turunkan papan tanda "Lake Library Cafe" jikalau pintu itu hanya untuk Jabatan.
2. Sila hantar pengawal lelaki bermisai yang tidak munasabah dan tidak mesra pengunjung tu ke latihan semula. Diminta pengawal ni di tempatkan di jawatan yang tidak perlu berhadapan dengan pengunjung taman.
