Valya Hotel Meru Raya

The rooms are clean and nice, although going to the room you have to travel through long corridors but once you get into the room, you will be satisfied. The hotel has 2 floors but they provide lift. Thank God I dont have to carry my luggage to the steps.

Located just opposite mydin mall. Eateries all around via walking distance. Clean room and bathroom. Lift provided. Complete ammenities for a budget hotel. Nice hotel for a pit stop from north to cameron highlands. Recommended

I loved this hotel but there is a dim light at ceiling that make me quite hard to sleep, there is no any switch to turn off & I haved confirm with the staff at hotel

We took family deluxe which was only rm 195, with 1 queen bed and 1 singke bed. A very great bargain. Our room was with no window and near to the lift. Although with only 2 floors (GF and L1), they have lift and bell boy service.

Very clean, spacious and well equipped. For a 2 star hotel, you dont expect to get an iron +ironing board, room slippers too!

We were given 3 towels. Unfortunately no baby cot :(. Easy check in process and the staf, Aishah if i remember correctly was very helpful.

The only minus points are:
You can hear some loud bass sound from the bar below.
No baby cot

Strategic location with just about 1 minute walk to Mydin Mall (opposite). Zus coffee, McD, KFC are within walking distance too.

The price is a bit pricey for a budget hotel, but because the rooms & services are very good so it's fine.

The hotel got elevator, very good point! Travelling with senior citizen is very recommended. The lobby is nice & great, unexpectedly. The room is quite cramped but this one is the lowest category so I'm not sure bout other category. However, very comfortable. TV got not many choices of channel, the airconditioned is well function, got window in the room (un-openable). The toilet is okayyy, water pressure is fine, the cleanliness is not bad. Got a slight smell of cigarette upon the door open but very slight and after aircond is on the smell is no more.

The receptionist is very quick & helpful. Pick up the call very fast as well. A lot of car parks & convenient. The location is strategic. Few more other budget hotel nearby but too close to other each other so their parking are limited. This hotel is located at the corner so easy and the space is shaded by trees so not too hot.

Definitely will repeat the hotel again if visiting Meru.

Good location, staff was friendly. We stayed in a standard twin room booked through Agoda at rm86. Room was adequate to perform solat when the beds are pushed to the side. Sufficient amenities i.e. air con, iron, hot shower + soap, tooth brush, shower cap provided. TV, sejadah towels and jug. Overall, satisfied. Value for money. Highly recommended.

The receptionist are very helpful. Room is small and you need to move the bed to the sides if you want to pray. Sejadah is provided. Iron and iron board also provided in the room. There is a small convenient store at the lobby. Very near to Mydin Mall and you can just walk there. Nearby also have fast foods (McD & KFC) and kedai mamak.

Affordable last-minute solution if the PLUS highway is highly congested. A simple room without too many amenities, which is good for a quick rest before you continue your journey. Free HIGH-SPEED Wi-Fi! They're on Unifi 30Mbps I think. Superb! Also, their breakfast buffet price is awesome. Although a budget hotel, I still give it 5 stars. Highly recommended!

Clean and neat. In-room iron. Stroller/wheelchair friendly with the ramp and lift. Although the room is not that spacious, its cozy and comfortable for a couple with two little kids.

Set in a very good location, walking distance from the new Amanjaya bus terminal and right behind the Mydin hypermarket which has a large food court. Rooms tend to be a little small if you have any large suitcase but other than that, it is very nicely designed, has good wifi service, coffee /tea making facilities, bottled water n extensive TV channels. Modern bathroom design, very clean and pleasing to the eyes. Only problem for me is the hard bed. Some may like firm mattresses but it isn't my fave. Bed linens are crisp clean n very comfortable. There is a little store at the lobby for ice cream, bottled drinks, toiletries etc. Also a restaurant /bar called Chachi's that serves western n Asian meals. Very nice looking. Front desk service is friendly. Bring your own toiletries like conditioner, lotions etc. Only soap is provided. Hairdryer in bathroom. P/s: while waiting on the lobby for our transport, the staff offered us bottled water. So thoughtful of them.

Thanks for special decoration for my beloved behalf surprise.. Staff service like 5star hotel. I'm very enjoy and relax in Hotel Valya Meru. Keep it up will have more improve to serve on your passager.

Great location. Besides located next to Mydin Mall, there are lot of restaurants nearby including fast food chains such as KFC, McD & Pizza Hut. While at night, there are food stalls sprung up along the roadside and also food trucks compound (near McD). And there is a Roundabout Park which is very lively at night for family with children spending quality time. Good hotel for foodies :-)

Perfect place to stay with their cozy rooms and fast check in and check out... Staffs are friendly and helpful..... Experience a wonderful stay At Valya Hotel and definitely will come back again to Valya...... Thumps up Guys

nice place very clean n neat.i had 2 room n 1 night another is single bed and another is queen bed.really near to mydin so u just need to walk for 3 min to go to mydin mall

Room was okay for RM110, clean and comfy. Free parking and not under hotel so you have to buy parking ticket.
