Hotel Casuarina @ Meru

I was here with the team for an event and I checked in late at around 6pm. I made the reservation thru hotel website and eventho I had fill in all the bank card details during online registration, payment needs to be made upon check-in at the receptionist. Thanks to Aqilah, i had a smooth check-in. Aqilah is polite and professional and I'm happy that she assisted me 😄

We got a suite room facing the park. The room was clean and spacious. I absolutely enjoyed my stay there thanks to the food 😋 ayam masak lemak, sweet sour fish, daging masak halia, Lipton tea, cucuq bawang, hot milo and TEMPOYAK!! I super so love the tempoyak and teh tarik! The food is amazing, and i have no complaints 👏

Please note that the hotel does not have basement parking, but there's plenty of open parking outside the hotel.

THE HOTEL IS LOCATED IN A NEW AREA- MERU AND A BIT FAR FROM TOWN. NICE ROOM, COZY BED, FRIENDLY STAFF. AMPLE PARKING DEPENDING ON WHAT TIME AND DAY YOU ARRIVE.

personally, the best hotel in town so far. Strategic location, easy to find foods, leasure and entertainment just in front of the hotel and very suitable for family

Nice hotel for person on business trip or family on vacation, except it doesn't have any swimming pool and a bit far from the Ipoh city centre. But among the plus point is, there is a public roundabout that is happening during nights.

I stayed 2 times during business trip and planning to bring family for a short vacation later this year.

Me and my family stayed during Hari Raya holiday. We stayed at the Studio Suite with a king bed size. Very nice, cozy, and spacious room. The price is very affordable for a small family of 4.

The staff are nice to deal with. Even though there was a misunderstanding regarding the extra bed provided, I can still tolerate it.

I can see a night bazaar at the mini stadium located in front of the hotel. It was kinda happening, but we didn't go to explore as we were so tired from long distance travelling and endless stuck in massive traffic jammed on that time.

We ordered food panda for our dinner. There are so many choices and easy to arrange unlike any other hotels that we've stayed before.

A little setback is only their breakfast menu. Quite limited selections of drinks. The food is average. Hope they can improve the quality of their food served in their cafe.

Will be looking forward to staying again in this hotel as it is nearby after toll exit. There is ample space for the parking area too and just a walking distance to the main entrance of the hotel.

Nice place to stay for transit, besides PLUS highway. Take a nap & continue drive tomorrow morning.

The best thing about the hotel is parking never a problem, spacious room, clean and variety of breakfast options. They even have coffee machine so you can have variety types of coffees (especially for coffee lovers). There is also cafe offered specialty coffees and chocolate drinks as well.

Nothing negative to comment about. Overall everything was good.

Not extravagant not decadent. But in its simply everything works and works well

We were travelling from Selangor, After watching the fire flies and it was too late hence couldn’t find a decent hotel nearby . We travelled to Ipoh and booked Hotel Casuarina. It was decent and big room. Nothing fancy but very very clean. The customer service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

I was there on business trip and the place is great. Many local foods to experience.

Spacious room (upgraded to studio unit) with a nice view of bulatan Sultan azlan shah. The interior design is minimalist with modern touch. Easy to get going. Various choice of eateries within walkinhg distance from the hotel. The only drawback is there's no swimming pool here.

Our company organised an event here. As an event committe member we have the privilege to stay at their room and having buffet lunch at the coffee house. The room needs proper maintenence especially the toilet. The food and beverages are superb. Services not bad also. Thank you casuarina meru👍👍👍

The location is quite far from the town but near mydin and if I'm not mistaken a shuttle can be provided by the hotel. Great place to recuperate from the fatigue. The food is good and shops are bountiful within walking distance.

Very nice hotel to held event. Close to PLUS hiway and easy to reach. No basement parking but quit enough space for parking but may need to walk to go to lobby.

Nice hotel, very near to the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I went here with a motorcycle and they have a parking space for motorcycle situated at the entrance of the hotel. The concierge is very friendly and helpful with me.

Realy nice hotel. Staff friendly and informative. Decor also nice. Room tidy and clean. Assesible and really nearby to shoplots at Meru. Infront of hotel got hall for night life for people to have some entertainment. And also on morning people joggings. Overall nice hotel to stay far from busies Ipoh town. And easy access to Plus Highway.

Nice hotel.. but need to drive out a bit for any snack or dine if not room service will be avaiable for u. No other leisure things or entertainment within this area.

Easy access to the adjoining Convention Centre and Meru township. Even for visits to Kuala Kangsar which is a 30mins drive away. . At night, much to do for families with small kids at the Bulatan (roundabout). Nice jogging area. Good array of food choices in the hotel. Good food choices nearby in Meru township.

The newly refurbished hotel, but i personally don't like to concept of the room. Tall person like me will find it difficult to get up from bed because of the Japanese room concept.
