Hammocks By The River was designed by one nature lover to another nature lover. This place is meant for solo, duo, couple and group camper with glamping services as well. It is not meant for 17 years of age below so as peaceful environment and vibes preserved for those who wanted to relief stress be it from work or home.
Campercar (that’s me🤭) sites are available beside tent camping. Riverview site are authentic as the river is not deep (probably not rainy season).
This is also pet friendly camping site so as to enable campers to bring along their “best friend”

Amazing place, friendly owner, helpful staff.
Super safe place as it's gated, so don't worry! And the staff will stay up quite late in case you need something at night.

Suitable for beginner campers, or people who want to experience camping without preparing all the gear 😂

PET FRIENDLY AS WELL!!!!

With the new SUKE highway access, this can be a great neighbourhood escape in the city. You can choose to camping or glamping here (of course glamping got better view😂) but we still enjoy to camp. Toilet is clean and basic. I appreciate when car can be parked next to campsite 😆

4. Friendly and helpful staff named Jesse helped me settle into the campsite and was explaining everything to me.

I had choose to stay here during the weekday (Friday) because might scare too pack on the weekend but did not expect that that only 3 tents which is occupied that night including me. It’s very quite at night due to very few people but it’s not scary at all, there are many friendly dogs which company me and its quite bright at night so i dont even feel scary at all. Toilets was clean and acceptable as well. My experience overall was nice nothing negative just feel a little bit hot due to the weather, the abang there was really nice and helpful too. Really like it here and they really give me a good impression to me for my very first camping experience.

Affordable camping area if you're bringing your own tent. The environment was pretty lovely, with some companies of owner's doggie. We had our tent set below the durian orchard, had a nature view mixed with some tent for those by the river. They have few stations of sink for cleaning. The toilets and shower were quite clean, and odourless. Staffs came greeted us in the evening and checked if we need anything, that was quite nice. We encountered rain at night but all was OK, no flood whatsoever. Recommended.

Great camping site that is pet friendly!
Dog owners, please leash your dog and bring your crate if your dog might get anxious in new places with other dogs. Clean up after your dog and be sensitive to other races around you.
Basic water and shower is sufficient but water does smell rusty. River is muddy but not trashy.
The tools provided are sufficient and do bring your own blanket as it gets cold at night.
The crew are amazing and do bring them some yummy food or drinks when you visit. They work hard to maintain the campsite ! 😃😃

I usually emphasize much on the hospitality wherever I stay, hence I am giving 5 stars for the service and atmosphere.

Everything was so smooth and quick, from making a reservation, directed to my tent, getting someone help setup the BBQ fire etc.

Unexpectedly quiet for a Friday night. I needed this to recharge from a stressful week. It could get really warm in the tent but I was lucky with the drizzling/breezy night.

I would definitely come back here again and recommend it to my friends and family 🙂

The camping site offers all necessary equipment, convenient facilities, and proximity to the city, making it perfect for beginners and ensuring a safe outdoor experience.

Had an enjoyable and relaxing camping trip with friends. It's close enough to the city for a short and quick getaway. We purchased the premium package and equipments provided was sufficient. The staffs were helpful and helped us start the bbq fire when we needed help. Since it's durian season, you can pick and eat if you see any around the campsite. This campsite is for above 17 years old so it's suitable for couples or group of friends. Would be better if toilets are cleaned more frequently. Tip: please bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper because there will be animal sounds at night and insect repellent too

Good environment, nice atmosphere to gather with friends and family, will recommend for those who haven’t try camping yet. You must choose a good experience on your very first time, so you can enjoy the peaceful 😌 Eddie super friendly as well. On my mind it’s considered as 5 star camping experience (but make sure you book for the super premium) toilet is clean as well.

Had a 2D1N stay with my boyfriend here, the place is really well maintained and the tent was perfectly equipped with what you need. The place is not far from KL city (35mins) but it’s super natural vibes . The only bad thing is the river is abit muddy due to the rain.

This is a great place for those who want to experience camping for the first time as everything is nicely set up and people just need to come in with food and personal items. Location wise, it’s very strategic as it’s around 30 mins from KL, suitable for a 2 days 1 night getaway. The campsite, toilet and tent is clean, staffs are ready to help and very friendly. Overall, good experience camping at HBTR.

P/s: to all the campers, please be mindful of making loud noise pass 10pm, always be considerate please. Let others have their peaceful and quiet camping moments.

My first time camping, great experience and friendly host Eddie Putera, he taught us some basic survival skills, like how to chop wood and start fire.

We had a fun time dipping in the cold river to feel the current alongst Langat river. There also have a clubhouse for us, a group of friends to sit n chill.

If you are first timer, no worry about it, E.P also prepare mini gas cooker for you to conveniently cook.

Will come back again.

Great place for camping especially newbies camper. They provide different packages from normal camping package (only campsite and tent) to premium luxury (Glamping). Caretakers and PIC are super friendly and helpful. No kids below 17 years old are allowed. And pets friendly. Highly recommended.

everything you'll ever need is provided if you take the premium package.
Also with premium package, you get your campsite by the river and the view is beautiful.

You just gotta get your own food and big powerbanks to keep your tech, fan and etc powered.

I was worried about sleeping at night without air condition but was pleasantly surprised with the portable fan (8-10inch) they provided, you can use your own power banks to power it and it actually moves good amount of air.

Hosted by the famous/ infamous inspirational multi talented sometimes eccentric but always fun Eddie Putera or EP. This quaint camping glamping site is a gem located not far from the city is perfect if you wanna experience casual camping. At a very affordable price, i would say its worth every ringgit spent. Even a dinner bbq is inclusive on top of having specialised gurus to teach u the basics of jungle survival i.e rope tying handling, firestarting, etc. One can also go for lite jungle trekking, fishing or just go for a dip in the cold refreshing Langat river. Camps are limited at any one time to preserve a private and relaxed atmosphere and kids below 16 are not allowed due to obvious reasons. Car park is easy, secure and sufficient and about 100m from camp and camp is just next to river... Bliss... Ill be enjoying my weekend here...

Edit - post review; the place together with the host exudes certain charm and will definitely makes one miss HBTR. I'll definitely be back again for another retreat outing.

It was one of the best and most convenient campsite to engage with! Clean and organized. Our tent get upgraded to the premium site due to the standard site is full. So really happy about that.

When we wanted to head back, we broke the roof of our tent with our big hiking bag 🥲 really apologise for that. We texted the admin and they said we don't have to compensate for that which is very surprising. Again we truly appreciate the kindness and how understandable they are. Doesn't mean for everyone who stays here is okay to break/damage things, though. (Pls keep it tidy and maintain the site and properties if you are visiting).

Eddie very talkative, very kind, and quiet place. I bring our own tent for three days two nights. Although it was a little hot in the afternoon, it felt a little cold in the middle of the night. The campers here were very talkative, lying in the hammock by the river, listening to the sound of the river. , Really enjoyable in the world, there are people who bring pets here, and there are people who relax by themselves. It is a good experience, but the mosquitoes here are very powerful 🤣 will come again ❗

Great place to escape from the city, enjoy the cricket chirping and frog croaking at night.
Be considered to others when you camp here. Our neighbor tent was chatting in the common area till 5am which is disrupting those tent near to common area.
