Mövenpick Hotel and Convention Centre KLIA

I was at first worried after reading some bad earlier reviews. But ended up surprised by an indeed pleasant experience in this hotel, for our 2 night stay.

It started out with a pleasant birthday decor in the room for my wife (she was so impressed). Room was clean, smell nice, and bed was comfortable. They were nice to upgrade us to Executive room.

Overall restaurant service was great, and better than what I expected. Buffet breakfast was quite good as well. I honestly did not expect this.

Airlines provided stay here due to flight delays. Reached at midnight to the hotel and we needed food for the baby. The staff were very helpful to provide baby friendly food to our room. Thank you to that one staff member for his thoughtful gesture and making it happen.
Rooms are also very nice and cozy.

The hotel is very beautiful and their staff service is also very kind.

For those who are interested in the gym, I strongly encourage them to play in this hotel's gym because the environment is very conducive and if you are lucky…the gym staff who his name is Bad gave me instructions on how to play the gym properly.

Overall is a great experience to staycation in this hotel.

We arrived at the hotel after a tiring 14-hour plane ride at approximately 9pm. We were greeted warmly by the front desk staff and the check in procedure was quick and easy. The room is clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. We ordered room service for dinner and the meal exceeded our expectations. We took the 10-minutes free shuttle back to KLIA1 the next day and it is a hassle free super convenient ride. My husband was very impressed with the quality of the room and the service; we will definitely stay again on our next trip to KL.

Went for a wedding anniversary staycation and requested basic room decoration. We got complementary cake as well which was a nice touch to it. Chocolate hour is also an extra happiness moment given to guests. Perfectly satisfied with our stay here.

We enjoyed an overnight stay while traveling from Australia to the UK. The hotel was perfect for our needs and the staff could not have done more to make us welcome. We arranged free airport transfers easily with the hotel and enjoyed a fantastic meal. The free chocolate experience was very memorable. We will book again.

Perfect overnight stay due to cancelled flight. 5 stars. Clean room, nice amenities, buffet breakfast is one of the best I’ve been to, awesome pool and staff were so lovely. Airport transfer was easy to organise, replied immediately and was on time. Easy to locate too. 10/10 stay!

Perfect for a nights layover between long flights. It's a short distance from KL airport and easy to order a ride into the city. The rooms are modern and large and the bed ultra comfortable. Staff we very helpful going the extra mile to accommodate my needs. I highly recommend this hotel.

For a family-friendly stay, hotel gets a thumbs up. The spacious rooms and thoughtful amenities catered well to the needs of my family. The on-site restaurant had a variety of options, making it easy to please everyone's palate. The staff was accommodating, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a stress-free stay for both parents and kids. If you're traveling with family, [Hotel Name] is a solid choice.

I was there for business purpose. The room is fantastic. My bathroom is all well except the lever handles for hot/cold water (shower) is loosen and difficult for me to adjust. The basket that is used to keep the prayer mat could be replaced.

It was aesthetically stimulating. I did not rate 10/10 because there were some minor lapses such as housekeeping was somewhat slow and the amenities were lacking. Spoon for making coffee should be provided. Also, when I first arrived, it was late. The reception did not offer bell man to assist in finding our room. We had to find it ourselves while dragging our luggage. Perhaps I could have requested. However, late check-ins are usually accompanied with forgetfulness. It would have been courteous if the reception offered the bellman service on his own accord.

We had an early morning flight so this is an ideal hotel for us. There is a shuttle bus service to KLIA. As we had to take an early 6am shuttle, we had enquired about breakfast and were offered a takeout breakfast. This was a nice gesture from the hotel and reflects well on its catering team.
In terms of cleanliness, it is excellent. However, there are some protruding wires by the bedside locker. Also water seeps through to the toilet area when taking a shower. One unusual feature is the cold water tap in the shower. It's marked red like the hot water tap but maybe that's Scandinavian style. However, the middle tap for switching from ceiling shower, hose shower and the foot wash pipe does not appear to work. Maybe it's just our room but we could not enjoy the ceiling shower as a result.
Apart from these issues, everything else was excellent during our recent stay at the hotel.

An exceptional hotel perfectly situated for those transiting through KLIA airport. The rooms are splendid, featuring exceptionally comfortable beds. The bathrooms are elegantly designed and come with a range of high-quality amenities. The hotel also boasts a vast swimming pool, ideal for a refreshing dip. Proximity to the Outlet shopping centre adds to the convenience. The staff consistently exude friendliness, and the unique 'Chocolate Hour' between 3 and 4 pm offers a delightful, complimentary treat that we absolutely adore. 🍫

nice hotel but things inside room a bit old. My room luggage stand 1 screw missing making luggage put on top not firm and stable. Toilet roller missing.

this hotel is too good not to rate it 5 stars! the breakfast is so good, the cafe is good, the environment around is good. You can easily get to the hotel from KLIA/KLIA2 with free shuttle bus. The only minus I could think is distance of the hotel, to city center - would take almost an hour drive.

Massive hotel with massive rooms, quality is as you'd expect from the Movenpick brand. Unfortunately I was there late and early checkout so none of the facilities were open, but room service was good. Breakfast is absolutely amazing, congee and soup stations and much much more. Located close the airport with shuttles.

(+) Room was spacious, nice amenities, free shuttle to KLIA from 6 am and staffs were really helpful.

(-) No shuttle to Mitsui Outlet (grab were extremely expensive - RM30 for one way)

I have an event here. The hall is very large, the AC is cold enough. And the food buffet is also flavoury and very good. Overall great experience. Additionally, the toilets is clean too. and what I really like, they have a near big mosque inside the hotels. And its near the kuala lumpur international airport. Nice!

The hotel is beautiful and grand. The facilities are very good. The is convenient store in the hotel. Pleasant smell once entering the lobby. free movie also available. Recommended hotel.

Staffs were friendly and Hotel location and security is good. Guards patrol the carpark regularly and look out for suspicious person.

Rooms are clean and there is a mini mart that open til 1130pm for getting foods.
