Highly recommended for Christmas outing! Sure, it may be crowded with lots of people on Christmas, but the atmosphere really fits the holiday festive season of Christmas! You could even feel the romantic vibes when walking around, especially with your loved ones even though you don't buy anything there.🎁✨🎄💕

The food there is great as well! Better try them out! 😍😍

Like others, we come here to find idea/inspirational for our home deco. I believe others also, instead of their food. Food comes in variety, and of course one of people’s fav is their meatball. Overall is good, 5/5 for their cleanliness, staff, facilities etc

Definitely a good place to visit. Ample car park and using touch n go. Huge area. The restaurant was huge and the food was good too. Other restaurant and outlet for Maxis, DIY and many other can be found here.

This restaurant provide station to charge your phone. Drinks is refill able for free but you have to pay for a cup when you pay for your food.

This restaurant is also good place to do your work while continuously drink and eat something.

Amazing build up by Ikea, making batu kawan from nothing, middle of nowhere to a gemstone of mainland Penang.

Trusted brand, not just the quality, luxury and affordable furniture, but also where you get a good treat for yourself.

I like the IKEA to all seasons! My favourite is the Christmas 🎄 season at IKEA as I miss the European cold winter. At IKEA you find all beautiful Decorations for your congratulations. All kids love the IKEA cookies, ice cream and curry puff. The coffee machine is great at the Swedish Café which is a must on my way. ☕🍦

Easy access from the highway. Traffic is smooth. Can shop at IKEA. Connected to more shops including convenience store, food chains etc. At the same area, you can spot KFC, McD and Tea Live.

Tired. So big for my feet. For those who usually just want to stay at home, IKEA is a good place to go for a little exercise while enjoying food that is almost good for the Malaysian palate while spending the newly received salary.

Note: do not go when public holidays. Hardly to find parking spaces.

The IKEA parking service and security team is the absolute best! Today my car wouldn't start and was stuck in the loading bay for hours waiting for a tow truck. Vicky in the parking service/management team helped me to talk to the tow truck driver since the driver only spoke Bahasa and I only spoke English. Then, the security team helped to push my car out of the parking structure since the clearance was too low to allow the truck inside. Every IKEA staff member went above and beyond to help me today and I am so grateful! 💕

Well designed outlet, even though it's a bit of a drive from the island of Penang. Located in the growing township of Batu Kawan, this IKEA is one of the better planned ones that I've visited around the world.

Parking is ample, and in the complex that houses IKEA are also a variety of other shops and retail as well. IKEA itself occupies two floors, and in the same layout as all their other stores, you get the display area on top and the self-pickup items below.

One thing I particularly found nice about this store is the use of natural lighting through actual windows from the outside. This gave their furniture a better look than with artificial lighting. Also, the plants and outdoor furniture area is one of the largest I've ever seen, all beautifully placed in a corner with windows all around.

The IKEA restaurant remains a favourite for many, and they also have a few other cafes in store as well. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and even though the meatballs have shrunk in size through the years, they are still a great meal.

Avoid weekends if possible as the crowds can be dizzying. Try to make it on a weekday morning, when there's hardly anyone around, and you can browse in comfort as long as you like.

5 stars because it's the only IKEA available in the north!

Cafeteria food is nice, furniture is also nice as expected of IKEA.

Some dessert glasses can be taken home from the cafeteria, they make for good ashtrays 💯

Worth the 1hr trip driving from island, big in&outdoor car park, Nice food in restaurant as usual, tons of upgrading living style ideas & furnitures, and never the less, the MUST HAVE ICE CREAM!! 😎
The only thing to improve at later Time shall be free shuttle bus ( from my personal view ).

Happy customer, happy shopping experience. Easy to park, nice and clean showroom, but a bit slow to check out because not all cashier available. Hope can open self check out counter so that customer with few items can check out faster.

Went there on Friday evening. There's not a lot of people around during that time which is a bonus for us. Plenty of seats in the cafe as well. The food was delicious. Batu Kawan Ikea is as big as Cheras. They even have little cafe inside the showroom which is different from Cheras and Damansara showroom.

Great location - senang nak jumpa sebab dari jauh boleh nampak. Was a bit crowded even when the shop just open. Staff not so attentive but overall good service. They should open more cashier, only few open causing very long queue - kalau boleh elakkan makan time peak hour macam lunch, maybe boleh makan dulu then baru jalan-jalan. Food taste okay, albeit cold but edible. A good place to get an idea for future home furnishings. Very nice ambient and the environment very chill & peaceful. Especially on the weekdays, not too much crowd. The food simply the best but can be better. The taste quality 8/10. Staff friendliness also can be better. But it’s worth every penny especially on the discounted items! Will come again.

In this COVID-19 pandemic, the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) are implemented strictly, for instance only fully vaccinated people can enter. For me it's a good initiative from IKEA management to curb the virus transmission. As usual, the arrangement here is very neat and easy to access. Also, to ease your shopping and to prevent from crowds, come here early.
