Habitat Penang Hill

Gorgeous greenery to slow down and escape our busy lives momentarily 🪴🍃 Would recommend visiting early in the morning just when they open so you can enjoy the sounds of nature in its full glory. Also book your tickets online because the queue to buy tickets on-site was slow going, whereas online bookers can simply walk in, scan and enter.

However, I’ll admit that it IS pricey for what is essentially a mini hike which you can easily finish in 1.5h. Be warned that this place isn’t very accessible as some paths are uneven, rocky or with steep steps.

Great day trip to get put of the hustle and bustle. Pricey entry but I guess that's kept the place quiet and peaceful. Wonderfully maintained. Guides were very good.

Nature in the city kinda vibes. It was a nice trail to take especially with the shady trees around to save myself from the hot sun! Hehe

54 ringgit per pax for a ticket was pretty decent.. sad tale was that i didnt get to see many animals

Curtis crest was awesome though to have panaromic views and great picture shots!

Their renovating the main entrance so youll have to wait for a shuttle to bring you to the back entrance

Great place .highly recommend it . it's good if you want to have a peaceful quite time amongst nature .Saw a flying squirrel as well

I had a wonderful time in Habitat Penang Hill. The ambience and the immersion in nature is a delight. Not sure if it's the Habitat I should be complaining about or if the authorities for Penang Hill are responsible, I went to the habitat with my mum and my aunt who are both elderly but when I tried to purchase the express tickets for the funicular especially so that my mom and my aunt can breeze through the lines, I was turned down. Twice. When we were going up and when we were about to make our way down. I see the foreigners using the express way yet I was turned down. Are my ringgit worth less than the money the descendents of these colonizers use at the ticket counter?

Good experience to walk the entire area. Did not eat any food there.

The 'Habitat Penang Hill' is a lovely coffee shop right in the middle of nature. You can take a nice 30 minute stroll to it or take a shuttle buggy. We walked and got the shuttle back, and there was plenty to see during the walk.

It was cool in the coffee shop with A/C and the views through glass wall were good. Shame that the roof area was closed. The coffees were delicious.

Very friendly staff along with well maintained attractions. Bravo. Something worth giving 5 stars to all day
