The Haven All Suite Resort, Ipoh

The room is apartment concept. So big. The view is mesmerising. Got hot jacuzzi. You can hardly hear any car or motorcycle sound during the stay. The food is good however got no varieties. 3 days stay, the food is the same as previous day, just a few only that changed. But overall, worth your money to come and stay here.

Maiden trip here. Started well with exceptionally friendly staff consistent from the concierge, security guards, front desk and F&B staff. Everyone exhibited genuine eagerness to serve guests and make your stay pleasant. Keep up this great competitive edge.

Highlight is the stay is the lake surrounded by the stunning limestone hill. An oasis just adjoining the city and the large seahorse shaped infinity swimming pool overlooking the view was spectacular.

The facilities are clean, well kept and very good which includes even badminton, squash and ping pong options. However nothing beats the nicely laid out and well landscaped jogging path around the lake.

The condotel is well maintained and the hot shower comes with strong water pressure. The daily replenishment of complimentary snacks and fizzy drinks is a nice sweet touch which my kid and wife loved. Again the majestic view is a must hence make sure to book lakeside view.

For the overall experience, the pricing is good value. The only grouse would be harder for this without transport to get to the city center and popular Ipoh dining spots 9-10km away. Grabcar should sort this out. Overall we would definitely return for family getaways.

Incredible stay here. Got great deal through booking. Pool and restuarant facilities were fantastic. Lovely staff, really friendly. Monkeys, amazing birds & insects and monitor lizards all around the site as well. Room was slightly tired looking in places, but the views and setting were incredible so it didn't matter to us! We were tired as mid big trip so we ended up just staying in the resort as it was so brilliant.

The Haven really lived up to its name. We enjoyed our stay from the very moment we stepped in the resort. Staff on duty were friendly, informative, and very clear when explaining. The suite is very spacious, well furnished, and clean. The view from the bedroom and balcony was awesome. The infinity pool is one of the best I've seen personally as it has the best view ever. It's so calming to swim and just looking out into the lake and forest/limestone structures in front of you. We were there on a weekday and practically had the whole pool to ourselves. Breakfast was an extensive enough spread, and the food served was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. The only thing that would have made the stay better was if there was a washer/dryer in the suite or even a coin-operated type at a common area. While they had laundry services, the timing may not be suitable for some.

The service was very good, and our stay was so relaxing. Rooms are clean with modern furniture and with all amenities you may need. The bed was King-size and very comfortable for sleep. The breakfast was good and the pool area was great. The location of the hotel was perfect - close to the city centre and beautiful views. I think I would come back again!

Beautiful landscape, serene and peaceful. Love the pool & jacuzzi. Love the jogging track. I even end up googling how much if i want to buy a unit here for a getaway home. Haha.

We booked 3 rooms apartment. It was a last minute booking so it was quite expensive. It was very crowded at breakfast time as it was a public holiday. Anyway we enjoyed the stay. The environment of the hotel is closed to nature. You can for a morning walk as it was cooling and the air was so fresh. One of the pool has warm water. It was good to go for a swim after the morning walk. Kids would love to feed the rabbits. It's good for a family get together and away from the city crowds

One of the best family stay cation. Location was perfect. My family enjoyed the whole 3 days 2 night we stayed there. We stayed in the lake view unit and the view was amazing. The unit had a small kitchen, with Coway water filter plus dolce gusto coffee machine, with 4 pods.. complimentary snacks were also provided. Breakfast spread was good and they have many options for kids as well. Overall, it was a great holiday to end 2023. We will definitely return.

The entrance or the external side does not meet my expectancy, did not appear exclusive.
My second thought is this hotel is not worth the money
Landscape is not well managed, building appear not attractive, abandoned guard post when entering the car park area.
Difficult to enter the front gate as needed to show evidence of hotel booking details
The registration counter should take each visitors details by pre check in instruction rather then asking for each identity card/passport to be photocopied (my 1st encounter, never experience before)

However, when entering the room, it really changed the expectations

Room is superb, clean, comfortable and worth the money spent!
Facilities are excellent!
From netflix to coffee machine.
Snacks are there in the room, can be consumed without purchased, unless if we asked for additional.
Water filter machine is there! And so is
Happiness

The interior surrounding, facing the lake is really breathtaking

Exceeded my expectations! Stayed at the ambassador suite overlooking the lake. The lake view was amazing and the service was impeccable. Not only were the staff friendly, they also went out of their way to accommodate our requests. The only con was that the breakfast area was full of flies, which was off-putting.

We had an amazing stay at The Haven. The staff provided the room with swan-towels and also brought a cake for our honeymoon. Special thanks to Tanvir who made our stay even more perfect. He was very attentive and personal 10/10! He knew what we liked to eat/drink, gave us the best seat in the house and was very friendly! The massages were sublime and not too expensive. If you visit the restaurant, definitely get the New Zealand Lamb Rack with a glass of red wine (housewine) it was amazing! There were also rabbits that you could go feed. We would definitely visit the Haven again.

Food isn't the best and doesn't highlight Ipoh as Food Paradise. Location is slightly further away from city centre but makes sense if you're there for a quick retreat, you wouldn't need to head out.

Stunning resort, beautiful pool and gardens. It makes for a relaxing holiday. The breakfast buffet was great. We loved the fresh noodle soup and egg station. It’s walking distance to a few restaurants or you can catch a Grab nearby. My son also utilized their gym.

Stayed 1 night here. There are 3 blocks A, B and C. Check in was at block B and went smoothly. The managment offered a room upgrade to get the lake facing view for an extra RM250 (no thank you..) so if you want the lake facing view just book it straightaway online. Also leave your bags im the car first on check in as you may get a room at another block. The rooms were clean and they provided snacks free of charge per day which was a nice touch. There was good selection at breakfast which was delicious. I especially liked the chicken soup. However its no five star hotel breakfast buffet. Another thing which I found funny was that they give you a 10% off voucher to have lunch at their restaurant but it can only be used if you are a checked in guest. So if you stay 1 night you will need to pay for late checkout to use the voucher. Would be nicer if its valid on the day of checkout for all hotel guest staying 1 night.

Very clean and spacious room with two large televisions. The resort is quiet and relaxing, located nearby the city, making it quick and easy to visit temples and other must see places. The gym was amazing. It has very good equipment and is also very spacious.

Located in Tambun, The Haven All Suite Resort is a good place to unwind from the hustle and bustle city life. The place is tranquil and rich with flora and fauna. Check in and out was quick. The apartment was spacious and clean. Overall good comfortable stay in Ipoh.

We cherished our two-night stay with a breathtaking view of the Banjaran. The facilities and scenery surpassed expectations, meticulously maintained throughout. The minibar offerings were delightful and warmed our hearts.

The spacious room offered an exceptional view, and the breakfast was sumptuous. While the sambal for the nasi lemak was slightly sour, everything else was truly exceptional. We look forward to returning!

Room was clean and hotel staffs were friendly. The hotel is located within the mountain and very pleasant to stay. Pricey but worth the money! Highly recommended!

I love everything here esp the natural environment, facilites(playroom for kids, mini zoo, trex, playground, pool etc) and comfortable, cozy and clean rooms. Absolutely will come here again!

Breakfast service was great from Miguel.He is great. Love his energy around people.
However I notice the server of food like lontong and egg using the same glove for cooking, cleaning and serving including shaking hands.
This is unhygienic. Not a safe infection practice.
I hope this practice can be stopped immediately.
