Monaco Dining Restaurant

Excellent dining experience with the waiter explaining the menu to us. Below are the dishes we enjoyed and highly reccomend all to try. Gambas, mushroom soup, oysters. Mains met our expectations. Overall this will be the perfect place to celebrate any special occasions.

This restaurant deserve to be known more, location is quite hidden; but the food are pretty howl right with reasonable prices and varieties of option. Services are good too, waiters would explain more detail into the food you are ordering (if you are unable to understand the menu). Staffs are very friendly too, would accept personal comment you'd given. Environment is very peaceful and calming, some table seat even had privacy. Overall its a W restaurant, you should really try it. I would recommend you to reserve as it is a quite luxury restaurant.

My fave place to eat fine dining in JB. The price is not so expensive compared to other fine dining. Would recommend the gambas. they even gave us free lava cake for our anniversary. The place has improved a lot from last year. The ambiance is much better.

Celebrated my sister's birthday and they gave us a private area! The ingredients were high quality and service staff was excellent. The star of the night was the honey yougurt cake!

This place is definitely under rated.
Gourmet food, excellent service for average prices. Highly recommended, we'll definitely come back soon. Thumbs up for a great dining experience!

Nice Beef Wellington & Tenderloin Steak. 👍👍. Lamb rack not my preference as it is quite fatty, but the Beefs are really perfect for me, Tastefully prepared 👍💪. Found this hidden gem by Google 🤣 as we were nearby.

Pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Yvonne right at the entrance on ground floor before being warmly escorted up to Level 2 dining area with assigned table.

Maître d' Hing checks if we are 1st time here and shared their dining concepts and menu with us. He also introduced the other dining concepts restaurants and cafes within JB such as Gardens, Japanesea etc.

Jimmy the Restaurant Manager was really helpful and checks in regularly throughout the service.

Food is excellent and we were too full for desserts this round. Definitely will come back.

Note: if you happened to shop in midvalley mall southkey and do not drive, it is actually walkable from the mall to Monoco within 10 mins. Just exit from Midvalley South Court G level and take the sheltered path to the open space carpark of midvalley. You will see Opero Hotel on your left but keep walking towards the right side of the shop houses in front of Opero Hotel. At the right end of the shophouses, turn left and cross the road towards the Mosaic Building. Monoco is located along the shophouses with Starry Sky Hotpot at level 2 above Xavier J signboard.

I went for this restaurant for N times for food.I think the western food is number one in JB ! finally they did renovate and high class in atmosphere! it is a casual dining and comfortable with couple,friend and family to celebrate some occasion! Near to mid valley,u can walk or grab after shopping !!

Came on a friday evening without reservations and managed to get a seat. They have 2 levels and we were placed at level 2, which we had the whole restaurant for quite awhile 😅

Loved all their dishes which was made fresh and tasted really good! Only thing we didnt like was the lemon sauce for the cod fish which we felt didnt go well with the rice nor fish. But overall it was excellent!!

We also received a free lava cake as it was a birthday meal :) added on their flaming banana which was a really a flaming show, but the taste was alright as it was just bananas.

Loved the experience here and would definitely be back again to try other dishes!!

Second time here. It’s a very decent fine dining restaurant that doesn’t hurt the wallet. Their lobster bisque and gambas are my favourite dishes. The service is amazing and they even gave us free desserts.

This is our first visit due to good review. No doubt, this restaurant deserved the recognition.

This restaurant is a MUST VISIT. The Japan A5 steak was so soft and buttery it melts in your mouth, best paired with a glass of wine. The wild mushroom pasta is creamy and fresh. The oyster starter is a little pricey but wow the yuzu caviar combo was mind blowing. Service here is whole other level attention to detail - refilling our water glasses, clearing of plates and replacing with new ones, and great recommendations on what to try!

Highly recommend this semi fine dining restaurant in town. Mushroom soup, gambas and lava dessert are the must try. The customer service is top-notch!

good ambiance, service from staffs are very good and they will explain the dishes patiently. prices of the food are reasonable and food are delicious.

Food was well prepared and taste great ! Would come back again . Ordered tuna tataki , beef willington , gambas Al pli pli . I must say their gambas is super tasty . Also their mock tail is good too. Total damage approx 300rm
