We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, which is just a 4-minute walkable distance from Legoland. We booked a room but were delighted to find that we got a flat with 1 bedroom, hall, and kitchen. The space was quite big and could easily accommodate a family. What’s more, the price was very reasonable, about one-third of what the Legoland hotel rooms cost. The rooms were spacious, clean, and maintained high hygiene standards. They also provide breakfast and also lunch. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Legoland with your family. It offers excellent value for money and a comfortable stay.

Have the best apartmemt service experience with Somerset Medini Iskandar on 16~18 Feb. We r 2 families, checked in was so swift & smooth, with the most friendly counter crew. The stay was simply awesome, with all the family amenities, washer, stove, fridge, bathtub. Kids enjoyed themselves so much. Whenever we needed something, it was quickly sent to us with no delay at all.

Will come back in future definitely. It is our 3rd stay here since many years back. The best of all, it is within walking distance to Legoland with a big supermarket & restaurants nearby. Superb!

Stayed here for 2 nights with 2 kids. Service was great, room was great. Size was just perfect and enough. Requested a baby crib and was lucky to get it.
Bed was comfy.
The location was the best as it was just in front of Legoland which we came for.
Food in the area was a bit scarce and not much choices. But can use a GRAB to get stuff. The mall of medini right in front was pretty useless. Not really a mall.
All in all super location, good hotel for short stay.

I suppose to give 5 star rate due a very2 poor carpark management. The carpark management not using cashless payment system like touch n go. And their hire Nepalese security officer to collect cash which is out of their job scope. Hotel facilities department please look at this issue. With Your excellent service of your reception and poor service of carpark system. Other guest please take note once you lost your receipt your have to bear the payment for your carpark.

I stayed here with my family to visit Legoland, the distance is very close and the price is reasonable. Their hotel is spacious, clean and strategic, easy to find food and go to Legoland, very worth it. what was most impressive was the service, I left my allergy soap in the room after checking out and only realized it when I arrived in Kuala Lumpur, so I called their hotel and asked them to send it to the bus station that goes to Kuala Lumpur, the staff named Mr. Ifwat, he and his colleagues helped me take care of all these things and so that I finally got the item in Kuala Lumpur, I am very grateful for their help. I thank you once again, and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to travel to Legoland.

I really appreciate what Mr. Ihwat did it for me, maybe for other people it's trivial but it's very important for me because I can't get allergy soap in Malaysia, whereas I still have to travel there for a few more days. So anyway I have to be able to get it and Mr Ifwat really helped me with his sincerity and his fast and efficient work, the hotel is very lucky to have staff with such good work dedication 🙏🏻

very convenient location near legoland and shopping area.
Room is large with all necessary facilities for family stay and self cooking. Children friendly.

Very spacious room, huge size with very complete facility. The location also very near to Lego land, only about 3 minutes by walk ❤

Walking distance to legoland and medini mall. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The price was affordable. The breakfast was good. There's a mart nad 7eleven near the apartment.

A little hard to find when driving there, eventually found the parking location. All guest have to pay mandatory parking of RM10 for 3d2n or RM5 for 2d1n, its quite reasonable price and there is a nepalese guard who will ensure the carpark is safe.

Upon going up to level 2, I was impressed upon seeing a starbuck self-service kiosk. Front desk was friendly and quick to process my check-in. 2 keycards were issued.

My guest room was spacious, equipped with a kitchen, a sink and a microwave. The balcony, however was locked. Need to request front desk to unlock it and sign a form for security reasons.

Great location, walking to legoland was merely one traffic light away.

Facilites include a swimming pool, a gym and prayer room.

I cant comment on the breakfast as I did not buy the optional add-on. But I was told it is RM25 per guest.

Overall my stay was great, I'd definitely come back here if Im ever going to Legoland again.

Somerset Medini Iskandar Putri Johor Bahru have a great strategic location.
Side by side with Legoland and side by side with with Premium International Hospital.

About the room and facility, They have many of types the rooms.
Gym, Pool and Restaurant is already to enjoyed.
But most of epic on this places is View.
If you take a picture with Johor Bahru city view? Somerset is good place.

Stayed there a night. Rooms clean and spacious. Location close to Mall and Legoland and Gleaneagles.

Great alternative to the legoland hotel. Offers better value and newer rooms and facilities. Better layout for families too

This is my 2nd time staying in this hotel (actually serviced apartment). I booked 2 bedroom premiere apartment for my family of 4. There is 1 queen size bed in the master bedroom and 2 single beds in another room.

Having 2 separate toilets is so convenient and there is also washing machine, fridge, electric kettle, toaster in the small kitchen. There is a safe, hair dryer and iron with ironing board in the master bedroom.

The place is nice and clean. There are some wear and tear but it did not detract from our experience.

Basically this hotel is perfect even for long term stay and much better value than legoland Hotel.

There is a gym and swimming pool on the 1st floor.

The Medini Mall and Legoland is just across the street. There is a 7-11 and minimart nearby as well. There is supermarket and some restaurants at Medini mall so getting food is never a problem.

I did not try their breakfast buffet.

Gleneagle hospital is also just across the street.

Will be happy to stay here again if we plan to visit legoland in the future.

Rooms clean and well maintained, nice quiet environment, walking distance from Medini mall and Legoland as well as Gleneagles Hospital. Kids Playroom was enjoyable for the kids. No fancy pool but the kids loved it anyway. Front office was well trained, helpful and friendly. Good value for the price paid.

I stayed here during my first overseas trip since COVID has ended. We were planning for a 4d3n trip with the family to Legoland Malaysia and chose the place due to its proximity to Legoland . The stay was with my spouse together with a 7yo and a 5yo.
We checked in on a Tues and the front desk staff was super polite professional and knowledgeable about the area and were always pleasant even when I had so many questions and called the front desk several times, they were always patient to respond to me.
I put up the "clean room" tag on second day of the stay and but maybe we were the only few guest in the floor, our room was missed and not cleaned up when I returned, but upon receiving my feedback and request to replace the towels and consumables, the staffs were polite apologetic and responded quickly to address my needs and sent everything I asked for.
The safe deposit box in my room was not functioning on first day but upon feedback they quickly sent a security staff to fix it in time before my day trip started so it was also a very pleasant experience from the great service!

Conveniently near Legoland. Literally across the street. Rooms are spacious and clean. The view from the apartment is good. There's car park directly under the apartment. Mall of Medini is on the way to Legoland. There's a grocery stall that one can buy stuff to cook in the apartment. Apartment missing spatula, sponge, dishwashing liquid.

Just 5 min walk to Legoland. They provide full sized refrigerator and small kitchen complete with kitchen utensils and pans. It was very clean and comfy

If you want to cook and experience home away from home this place is definitely a great place. This place is definitely more pricey compare to homestay but you will be getting hotel services across the board which is definitely a plus. Swimming Pool is good. Nice play room for the kids. If I am feeling like indulging and wanting a place near the theme park. I will definitely stay here.

Great location if you are planning to go to Legoland yet want a cheaper accommodation than legoland hotel, this is a great choice!

Room: i read many reviews about late check in etc, which i was afraid of, but to my surprise, i was able to check in before 1pm! How lucky. Perhaps like what some others mentioned about "rundown", i guess it's more on the corridor area. But the lobby, facilities and the room itself are not really rundown. Nice room with a lot of amenities, fully furnished kitchenette with microwave, electric stove, large fridge, pans, pot, utensils, cutleries, plates, bowls, cups and glasses. Iron, iron board, hair dryer, toiletries, are all provided.

Service: there were 2 staffs at the reception, one who checked in for me which meets the standard service expectations of greeting and smiling etc. However the other guy doesn't even smile or greet, even when i was checking out, i thanked both of them but he just stared at me blankly lol. I guess all staffs should have good standard customer service as they represent Ascott, thus the 4 stars for their service. But experience wasn't bad.

Facilities: nice swimming pool. I didn't have time to take a dip, hopefully next time. I brought my child to the Children's Playroom, had some fun little time there while parents can relax.

Nearby: There is a 24hr Noble Supermarket a stone throw away downstairs selling many items. How convenient! And opposite the apartment is Mall of Medini, you can find a number of eateries there like KFC Subway, Burger King, Secret Recipe, Chicken Rice Shop, and a big modern grocery shop selling many items! Legoland theme park is just after the Mall.

If i want to stay near Legoland again in the future, i would stay here again!
