Karak Orchard Resorts

Good for short break away and team building. We enjoyed the flying fox and unlimited fish feeding. The games room with Mahjong, carom, pool and snooker table. The karaoke session was great too. Do take note karaoke session need to pay separately for the room. For sunrise you need to walk uphill on tar road for 1.5km. Nice view and environment.

2 days 1 night tripping to Karak Orchard Resort during low peak season for RM 300. We took the triple deluxe room.

My son was surprisingly excited and happy about the trip that he was so reluctant to leave! And he's so happy with the resort that he had no problem sleeping at the resort. Let's just say he is sometimes a little choosy. The room is clean although it's not grand.

The resort is not 4 star but was actually quite relaxing and guess what?
Since it was a super low peak season as we went on a Monday.. We had the whole (yeap the whole...!!!) Orchard to ourselves. There is another couple who stayed there but we didn't get a sight of them.

Kudos to the staff there who made so much effort to make us feel so welcomed! Special shout out to Mul the assistant manager and the other 2 staff that helped us so much!

The staff entertained us with orchard trailing.
They waited for us when we visited the 🐐, the dino park (dino park is not huge but it was a good walk), the paddling boat, feeding the tilapia fishes, obstacles courses and even flying fox (there were 4 staff to help us with the experience)

When it rained yesterday night, we stayed indoor after dinner at town and then had some indoor fun. Pool, snooker, carrum and board games + dart game is free. Karaoke and some other activities is chargeable.

In the morning, we hiked up the peak that was approx 1.5km walk. Kudos to my son.. He made it up without asking us to carry him.

Breakfast was included and you'd probably be wondering what are they going to serve us.. 😁
Well, they did their best. Kuey teow, fried mee, fried eggs, sausages, nasi lemak with nice sambal and nicely fried peanuts.. 😁 Another star towards their effort.. We were expecting something terrible since its only for the 3 of us..

Free durian ice cream were available but we did not redeem it so we can't comment on the taste and quality. Did we also mention they have swimming pool?

Thankful for the splendid weather. It was not too warm and this morning it was so cooling after the rain...when we left is was only 32c.

The bicycles however is a little old, cycle with caution as we did a tandem cycling with our little one in the middle..For those with families - you can just opt for cycling instead of ATV.

If you do go on a weekend, you gotta be patience and bear with the lack of manpower. Overall, they do try their best.

Went with parents. Love the friendly staffs, clean and tidy rooms, excellent facilities including hiking trails that are covered with concrete. Flying fox was fun. Food: dinner is cooked to order and served in the restaurant. They served one of the most delicious nasi lemak I had, Fragrant rice cooked to perfection, sambal with ikan bilis is oh so yummy, fresh crunchy kacang and fried eggs which are still warm. They also served coffee and tea that are sugar-free, with sugar on the side to be added according to taste. I must say the service is above par for a smaller enterprise such as theirs. It is durian and rambutan season at this time and hiking is a treat. Durians fell in the night in the orchard. Happily go back again

Simple yet comprehensive on the facilities. It is worth 20 mins hike to the top hill and hope to be back when durian start to peak in July

Great place for families or team family outings. Staff were all very courteous and thoughtful towards the kids which was great.

We had our company family trip here and they had a good space for us to have our team discussions. There was a nice club where everyone could play snooker, table tennis, darts, mahjong or carrom.

Food taste (lunch & breakfast) can be further improved but it was definitely fresh! The chicken & fish was from their chicken & fish farm.

Overall it was a great place for families to be able to enjoy nature & space. Would definitely recommend it !

Had a very good experience with my friends in this resort. Totally worth every penny. There's badminton and basketball courts for teens. Swimming pools for both adults and children and a dinosaur park! Love it!

PS, the durians are GREAT!

Brought my friends here for the holidays, its a barrel of fun! Teambuilding activities is a plenty and some extreme sports like flying fox is great.The staff here is very polite and helpful, serving us with a smiling face all the time. The food here is amazing with their own bred Patin fish and fresh vegetables! 11/10 would come again.

Staff friendly, room rate reasonable ,best for kids. Just be aware of the insects in the room, wolf spider spotted. If can place some insect repellent in the room would be perfect, keep it up!

We loved the resort as the property was very pleasant and located only an hour drive from GPO. Pick and drop buggy facility around was prompt and nice. Kudos to Tony taugeh and staff for their professionalism. Overall stay was very comfortable and we would definitely visit again!

Good customers service and able to try varieties of tropical fruit!! Nice swimming pool and many outdoor facilities were provided!! Foods are also very delicious and the rooms are very spaces too!! Great experience👍👍

Finally travel to Malaysia post-covid, missing most its durians. Recommended by a friend to this resort for a tree2table experience.
Reservation online communicating with the staff has been very smooth and with lots of understanding towards a “foreigner” difficulties.
Staff on the ground make every moment extremely welcome and pleasant. They would even reach an hour before restaurant last order to ensure the guests won’t miss. Don’t miss the self-raise butter fish. Delicious!!
Rooms are simple and very clean. Air conditioning and wifi are great!! Water supply also great, especially in the rural side, you would know the effort of the owner.
Especially like the facilities including the flying fox and the challenge game area. Not to miss the hike, both sunset and sunrise are amazing experience.
If u look for a 5-star hotel experience, stay in the city. I’m giving this resort 5-star for every details: Fresh air, beautiful scenery and environment, efforts to preserve the nature, and the people. It’s a true getaway from the city. Lastly, of cos their durians are EXCELLENT 😋 Will revisit!

Love my stay everytime i go there, my family too. Great fresh durians and food. Kids will love the animal farm, hiking, many activities, flying fox, swimming and many more. A great escape for fresh air 😊

Great place to experience nature beauty. Definately a family place, activities is great such as flying fox, bicyle riding, fish feeding, orchard tour, pool for kids and watching sunrises is a must... Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Perfect resort with great activities for team building. And it is the longest flying fox around 287m.. Great staffs and the BBQ is magnificent..
