It sells varieties of imported products with reasonable price. Arranged in such a way easy to look for specific items. Toilet is available.

People always say expensive because most items are imported. But there were also cheap things that you'll find in marts.

I come here quite often for imported food , frozen food like pies/puffs, gourmet breads, Egyptian hummus! vegetables, or just generally higher end food products. Our family has been patronizing this business all my life , since I was very young , and I am glad that it's still convenient to come to and still a favorite shop for me. Never ever change. Lol.

Towards the pricier end of supermarkets. They carry a range of imported stock, catering to the expats. Fresh fruit and veg is limited in choice but the quality is decent and consistent.

If you are looking for international goods, Merdeka supermarket has been our neighborhood hero for so many years. Tons of variety of local and international food. I enjoy testing new items especially when they are on sale for stock clearance.

Good range of groceries. Fresh meats, veggies, cheeses, coffee beans, etc ... Imported items, now with addition of an expanded ice cream section.

Still good range of imported fresh foodstuff and groceries. Prices have gone up (as the case elsewhere), but still reasonable.

One of my favorite place to get my groceries done, it's cluttered during stocking days...otherwise they offer a varied products from overseas. Their wet produces is decent but their cleaning products could have more choices.

Merdeka Supermarket is one of the few remnants of Shoppe that you can go in comfortably knowing that English is spoken. The staff are friendly and helpful. The shelves are replenished quickly. A front left corner of the shop is usually reserved for festive goods and new imported foods other than the front end row display.
Kept some special imported brands and stuff which are regularly brought in from UK, USA and Australia.
Fruits and veggies are fresh. If you like Aussie celery, you don't have to buy a whole bunch, just go to the counter and ask to cut to half. The friendly staff there will help.
Ample free parking are available.

Was there for fresh chunky chicken drumsticks. A good variety of reasonably priced foods and beverages, some of which are not available in other supermarkets. Household goods are well stocked and also reasonably priced. Clean supermarket. Friendly cashiers n staff.

Only place I like to shop, they have everything I need, prices are fair. Everyone seems to forget how much it costs to get shipped goods to SABAH.

I love to shop here. It's always so clean and complete with all the things i need. The fresh produce is always at its best qualities.

Fairly busy but fully stocked with all a home needs.

A family-run business. Working there over the summer was great too. Imported goods from all places, even Bruschette from Bulgaria. Old looking place but it's clean

Just a supermarket but specialises in imported items. Good choices of imported meat products. Most common items also have slightly higher prices than the RRP.

Legendary supermarket still going on strong. Imported stuff are sold here.

Best place to go if you're thinking of making a recipe from countries. Not a 100% that they might have what you're looking for but it should be the first place to check for the ingredients you want. 🤙🤙
