The aftersales service is also excellent, and you can visit the store if you encounter any issues and they would always happy to help.

Hup Leong is your honest local bicycle shop. They take great pride in their work and are willing to go the extra mile to help you get your bicycle in top shape. I have a couple of vintage road bikes that I am restoring here in Singapore. They have helped me with services and parts that I need. I recommend them to anyone who needs a honest shop for service or even a new bicycle.

Lovely shop well stocked with Shimano parts for those who take their cycling hobby seriously.

Was served by Ryan who recommended me to purchase a new bike after I sent them a list of 105/Ultegra level parts which totalled up to at least 2/3 of the price of a new bike at the same spec as the parts that I was looking to get.

Customer Service is excellent. They know their stuff and the customer should listen to their recommendations more than argue with them.

I have purchase 5 bikes in the past 25 years from Hup Leong...I raced at Provincial level in my teens and was responsible for the Canadian National/Olympic Team 1987-90 so I know a bit about cycling...HL listens to your particular requirements and riding style/ terrain and provides superb after purchase care...they are the best 👌 no Expat rip-off!!

Very satisfied with my Merida Speeder 500 purchase from Hup Leong! Was upgrading from a foldie to hybrid, and had back issues from the one I bought 2nd hand elsewhere due to frame size issues. But at Hup Leong, Ryan and Gilbert was more than patient in letting me try different sizes and correct my posture as well. Good experience buying from these friendly folks, highly recommended!

One of the best experiences purchasing a first hand bike. Ryan was very patient with explaining about the different bike models and even more meticulous with the post purchase follow ups. Second time purchasing a first hand bike and honestly this was the best experiences I’ve ever had till date! Mechanics there are also top notch, very experienced and pay a lot of attention to detail. If you are in the market for a brand new cannondale or Merida I would highly recommend Hupleong. Super welcoming and I think service comes first when it comes to them!

Very glad I found this place. Gilbert serviced my bicycle for a reasonable price and was very friendly and took his time to talk through all the work. The bicycle rides very smoothly now!

Purchased a Speeder 400. Wanted to swap my DT Swiss wheels/hubs over from my other bike (11 speed MTB) and found out that the freehub body of the 350 hub were for MTB and too short for the 11 speed road cassette.

Called local DT Swiss distributor and was told that DT Swiss MTB hub and Road hub are different and that's why cassette won't fit. I asked if I can get the 11 speed Road freehub body. Was told no, I need to change the whole hub to Road 350 hub. Need to special order as they currently only carry mtb 450 hubs and it will cost $400+. Yeah.... Go figure...

Anyways, told Gilbert thus and he reassured me that by the end of the day, he will figure it out and let me know if my wheels and bike can be collected. True to his word, I got a message towards the end of the day that both are ready for collection. He swapped out a new freehub body from an existing bike wheel and it worked. And it cost <$100.

The first time I've been to Hup Leong was more than 24 years ago, before Google reviews were mainstream and reputation was built on word of mouth. Gilbert built one of my first bike which lasted all the way till a few years ago when I gave it away. I'm pleased to say and see that the customer service, dedication to the craft and professionalism never waivered after all these years.

I had a very pleasant experience at Hup Leong. I am impressed by their friendly and professional service. I was served by the owner Mr Gilbert who is very humble and helpful. After the service my bicycle is so much better to ride on and the service charge was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I had full service of my Cannondale bicycle. Friendly and competent service. The performance of my bike was perfect after the service.

Merida Reacto 4000. Was assisted by Ryan and he was very patient regarding my queries. Explained the differences betwen the geometry and groupset and asked me to make an informed decision and not a seller who pushes you to get the highest end models. Remember to find a model which suits your needs and within your budget, and still enjoy the cycling experience. Gilbert and the rest of the staff was very friendly too! Took the bike out for a quick spin, realised that I have back aches and neck strains while cycling, contacted the shop and Ryan asked to me to head over to the shop for a bike fit. He assessed my posture and made minor adjustments and gave me tips on how to cycle in a proper way too! Gilbert gave me a raincoat since it was gonna rain while I was about to leave the shop, what a friendly gesture! Thanks Hup Leong, for making my first bike purchase a memorable one. Truly exceptional service.

Update: There was a clicking sound whenever I pedal two weeks in. Went back to the shop and they were very helpful on identifying and rectifying the issue. Turns out that my BB needs some cleaning and greasing. Clicking sound is gone. They did a simple bike fit and adjusted my saddle position as I am experiencing back pains while riding and it feels much better now. They were also willing to change my pedals to clipless pedals, all these after service done at no cost! Thank you so much. Will be back in 3 months time as advised by Ryan so the mechanics will be able to tune and fix any alignment issues of my chain/shifting. Loving my bike so far and has traveled to places I never thought I could, while at the same time maintaining my fitness level! Just sharing some of the places I've been to with this bike so far through these photos! Undoubtedly has been a joy to ride with :)

Distributor for Merida and Cannondale Bikes. Friendly and knowledgeable staff whom helped me identify the bike that I'm looking for. Waiting for the next batch of shipments. Will most likely get a Merida Hybrid from them.

Did bike spa service here. They dialed ride into perfect shape. Fixed only what needed to be addressed. And threw in freebies to make the bike ride smooth (Shimano chain, derailleur wheels). Friendly, knowledgeable service. Worth it. My new go to home for maintenance in SG!

Great bicycle shop. Very helpful in the purchase. And most importantly the after sales service and maintenance. Sold my S works Aethos because of the lack of service and support from Specialized. Many new Cannondale owners thanks to Specialized lack of service. Highly recommend Heup Long.

Experienced guys who know their stuff. I went there to transit into clipless pedals and they went beyond the sales to help with the installation and fixing of cleats. They even spent more time in going through the actual practice & allowed me time to get familiar w the process. The tips they shared were invaluable. Can’t be faulted on their services.

I sent my bike for servicing as my gear shifting was klunky and I couldn’t even shift to gear 1 on my front D. Great service and prompt communicator to provide me with updates before making any changes or repairs. End result, a fabulously well tuned bike, with such a silky ride, I wondered if he had changed my entire Gear system. Thanks Hup Leong for a great experience!
